So you know, Classic Coin Op, there are 48 stage with 7 optional stages in Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I do wish it were a full 50 with 10 optional stages though.
I took a shot every time I heard “best of all time” and woke up in a hospital. Great list though! Secret of Mana absolutely deserves its place at the top of this list. There are so many games where co-op is a cool addition, but SoM is a game where I think it’s absolutely vital to enjoying it. Doesn’t hurt that it has one of the best soundtracks of all time. *swig* …Uh-oh.
I love lost Vikings, but I think the Genesis version is better with the 3 player option. I covered it in my Genesis video. Does rock n roll have a cooperative mode? I always thought of it as competitive.
@@ClassicCo-op Blizzard released a collection of these games, with Remakes that have widescreen support and up to 4-player support on 1 console for the newer generation of consoles and PC.
Some great titles there. I'm often surprised when I see how many co-op games there are on SNES. It's one of those things where, because of so many sad trolls constantly proclaiming how "slow" and terrible it is in modern times, I sometimes forget it's totally capable of doing great co-op when handled properly. And I'd actually say that many of these examples could likely be optimized and improved further too, with some even currently being stuck running in SlowROM at only 70% of the system's full CPU speed at that.
Goof Troop *is* one of the best coop games ever. I'm sure in the same group when you, this is the game I've beat the most in my entire life. I did played it with all people that means something to me. This short game is so memorable... this one of the games that made me want to become a focused coop game developer
That’s awesome to hear someone live that game as much as I do. I do think it’s one of the best co-op games ever. Beat it so many times as a kid! Have you played Dandy and Randy? It’s totally a Goof Troop-like. It’s simple, but I really enjoyed it. Felt like the closest thing to a sequel.
@@ClassicCo-op yes! I did! A few weeks ago actually. Totally agree, the closest of a sequence that I ever found. I'm still looking for a 4 players version.
Legend of mana 2, or trials of mana, dang, me and my sisters did play this game so much... Legend of mana 1 is great, but the sequel. Dang, to me improves everything
Have you played rock’n’roll racing? I would put that over Biker Mice from Mars and is another great game to play cooperatively. Just be careful not to leave the other player behind or they get kicked off and can’t come back.
Saw the goof troop thumbnail and got excited. Maybe the best hidden coop gem on the system.
iIn brazil it is not a hidden gem at all. Every snes owner here knows the game
One of my all time favorites!
Not very many people talk about in the U.S. underrated and done by capcom
Goof Troop has the best and catchiest intro theme songs of the late '90's. Childhood memories.
Oh yeah, it’s a classic!
I loved this video. Tons of great footage and more than a few games I hadn’t heard of
Awesome! That’s what I like to hear. Thanks for watching!
Glad to see Goof Troop ❤ played back when I was very young and beaten many times
One of my all time favorites!

I need to beat it someday!
The 'Lamborghini' secret is a gem. I never knew! Thanks!
Yeah! Just found out about that one myself!
No mention of either Lost Vikings games?
I like those games. I included the first lost Vikings in my Genesis video. That version is awesome with 3 players!
Happy to see pocky and rocky, Ofcourse all the standard ones are at the top of the list. Was worried for a sec they weren't on here.
Love Pocky and rocky! So many great co-op games on snes!
I remember playing Mechwarrior 3050 with my dad, good times.
I played the Genesis version quite a bit. I really like it, but always sucked at it.

Completely missed Blizzards best: Lost Vikings and Rock n’ Roll racing!

@@ClassicCo-opyou can play it however you want competitive or cooperative, my brother and I always worked together.

Despite the technical limitations, I think the 90s were by far the best time for couch co-op gaming. So many incredible games that still hold up.
I love nintendo games 😍
Me too! SNES and Genesis will always be my faves!
In my personal opinion the games back then was better then today's games

If only that one Power Rangers game was co-op, that game kicks ass.
Which one is that?
