Hi Yorkies , Another entertaining vid with the interesting facts. sorry no been up to speed with your vlogs as been busy with work and family . Keep it up .
Hiya Lesley amd Martin, great video...hope ur travels are going well, it was a lovey weekend we had when we were there, and you captured us in ur video lol 😄
I think your video came up on my feed as I had just watched my girlfriends latest youtube video about her trip to tintagel. Glad you liked it down here. I wish Cornwall council would be more motorhome friendly, even in tintagel they don't allow overnighting.in their car park.. Here in Looe, we have a huge out of the way car park that would make an amazing overnight spot, but no, that's not allowed.. They are so short sighted..! Safe journeys :0)
they're NOT drains - they're the kennels! and you're right....dont go near them with your car, it dont half make a dent🤣 Flora day (8th may) is the way we welcome the summer. the pagan dance is the "hal an tow" apart from that there are 3 dances, 7 o'clock, at 0940 there is the kids dance, there is the midday dance, then the same dancers who danced at 7 finish off the day with the 5 o'clock dance.
Just in case anyone's wondering - Rick Stein has two places in central Padstow - the Seafood Restaurant that you filmed (two courses for £35 at lunch time) is owned by Rick Stein and there's also a bistro in the harbour centre. The deli and fish and chip, which are also Rick Stein owned, are the ones you featured in more detail and they're out at more industrial part of the harbour along with the Lobster hatchery. All of this is why some locals call it Padstein instead of Padstow. Personally I think he's really contributed to the Padstow are, but some people dislike others doing well sadly!
Thanks - yes I know he has lots of places, he also had a place in Porthleven. I hope it doesn’t come across that we don’t like Rick Stein because we do. Maybe as a frugal Yorkshireman I find £19 + excessive for takeaway fish and chips 🤣
We spend our final week in Cornwall and are shocked by some of the facts we discover, from 17th century landlords to dark gatherings in Tintagel
Morning guys
Hope you're both well
Another great video
You are definitely selling Cornwall to us, Padstow looks lovely
Have a great weekend guys ❤
