Although this video is a bit different than NHSRCL one. This one would show the work progress 😁
The landscape is very challenging. This is going to take some time. Easy to build things in plains. This has mountains, swamps, rivers, creeks, densely populated areas, elevated roads, railways etc. Tough job and a lot of expenditure in store. By the way they should extend it to Pune which would be another challenging and expensive project. Growth regions in MH are situated in challenging areas making infrastructure development very expensive.
This is very complex project. Hats off to all the engineers and contractors working on the project! I think the goverment should approve mumbai pune and ahemdabad delhi HSR corridors in the upcoming budget so they could start with land acquistion

Sir, would you know of any updates on the Mumbai Ahmedabad 160 kmph speed upgrade work? It is very difficult to find updates on it online. Earlier there were lot of news articles that 160 kmph operations would begin by 2024, but now unable to find fresh updates. Maybe you can do a similar progress update video on that too? Thanks!

From usability point of view and really providing fast transportation for normal people point of view, this project makes sense only if it is extended to New Delhi/ Chandigarh. Project should have been Mumbai - New Delhi Bullet train corridor. Wondering why they are building it till Ahmedabad only. We need more bullet trains like Pune-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Bengaluru etc.
Ever Heard of Phase wise construction?
Even for 508kms Mumbai Ahmedabad, it is costing more than 1.3LCr
Can you even estimate what would've been the cost for entire 1300kms at once, without even earning a bit out of it.
The 508kms, when operational initially, can contribute to it's own growth and expansion.

Saurabh - what is the height of each Pier in all area/places from where it is passing? It is same height or have variation in it?
It ofcourse has variation since the maine rail line should be in a straight line without gradient, that's the whole purpose of keeping the Corridor elevated.
Maharashtra will see much variations in height than Those in Gujarat.
Idk why they built thane platform and entrance separately. They could just have shifted the platform little back away from the mangrove area

NHSRCL must put very high Sound Barrier walls on either side of Bullet Train line, as the section is passing from Residential area in Bhiwandi to protect the train and passengers. As the Bhiwandi area is populated by Pieceful People who are expert in Stone Pelting.

Hey Saurabh, can L&T reuse the technology & techniques learned from the bullet train construction and use it elsewhere or the Japanese have a clause in their contract restricting it ?
Construction techniques have no clause from Japan or JICA. The only clause I know is about using Japanese Trainsets for Commercial operations on MAHSR.

Didn't you see Full span 40mtr long girder being casted in the video?
Segmental girders are only used in intricate places, or where there's no scope of setting up a Full Span girder Casting Yard.
Also, if there's a short distance between 2 obstructions, its not feasible to use full span ones. Take example of the last part of video between Zaroli tunnel and Bhilosa bridge, Just less than 3 kms, since FSLM launcher can't pass through steel bridge, or through Tunnel, so Segmental is chosen.
Longer non stop spans of 5km+ will be done by Full Span Girders.
Hopefully by 2029-30

Just by entertaining few data points sheets calculate the exact time taken on any HSR line including time taken for stops.
I really want to give this sheet to you for free so that our youth can learn and question the authorities when they are incompetent.
I also have sheet for Indian railways as well.
