I think that literally every single person at LEGO has the best job in the world. I can't imagine how much joy they must experience working there...

One of the more bizarre aspects of this build for me was that halfway through, when you essentially completed the wing flapping mechanism, just without the wings themselves yet, it seems like it has a very restrictive movement, almost felt like I've made some mistake in the construction. However, after adding the wings themselves, their increased weight naturally imbalances the mentoned lever linkage and causes the mechanism to start working as intended. Actually, I think this could've been added to the instructions, especially since they already include a lot of fascinating designer insights. Something like "This mechanism may appear to not function well right now, but as it is aided by gravity, adding wings later will fix that".
Also, I might add, the minifigure selection here is quite impressive. Not only the prints, but also how really modular they are within staying true to how these characters appear in the movie. I mean you could for example easily switch Leto's and Paul's bodies - making Paul wear a stillsuit and Letho Atreides uniform. Jessica can also be given a stillsuit, Gurney an uniform and Duncan Gurney's armor or a stillsuit, and it will all make sense.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. I thought I had messed up and was about to take it apart to fix the last few steps. Luckily I just forged ahead but they should have made some notes in the instructions because I was so worried lol

Hey minisuperheroestoday, I know you haven't done too many purist customs as much as you used to, but I'd absolutely love it if you could show how to make Goku in lego

Very cool to hear about the things that go into designing something like this. I wonder if there is a difference between blades and something like the airplane wings of city planes, because those blade pieces have to be made from a softer material in order to not make them dangerous due to their sharpness. Also, the airplane wings are basically constructed like Lego plates and have a lot more thickness to them. I think 40 modules was a good compromise for this piece and it looks good so I'm very happy with the end product.

Insane how the studio wanted the most accurate hair possible when the hair is the wrong color 😭 the mold is fine but dark brown would’ve fit so much better

I would have asked : why use so much red, blue and yellow technic parts as they exist in black ?

Looking previous sets... I think that Lego is decisive when using colorfull parts so they can be identified more easy when following the instructions... if you ask me they should remove this tendency... specially if these colours can be seen around the final product. In addition I really think that introducing such ammount of figures... they probably need to use cheapest parts to compensate some numbers.
