Back in May 2014. I love this song.
This remix is far more hectic and projects a different overall feel. I admit, some of the synthesizer seems a tad unneeded, but it's a nice change overall. Some of the extra riffs are nice. All we need now is for some kind person to mix the two versions together for the ultimate Moonlit Wilderness.

Dont get me wrong, I think this is phenomenal but I also think that the original moonlit wilderness tops this one, the rythm and smoothness of the original one was off the charts, it was amazing. But i do think this suits TT2 more than the original one.
This version of the theme has really grown on me
Way too much drums, The chorus is gone (and this was the main reason why I liked this song so much) and I don't think that the guitar fits the song either but the stage seems to be beautiful ...
I really can't decide which one is the best ... T4 or TT2?

So epic, I love both this and the one from Tekken 5 :D
In my opinion, both versions of this song are too different to say one is better. Tekken 5's version was smooth and cool. TT2 on the other hand has a more combat,action feel to it. I Love them both mind you, I just think they're too different to compare.
and killer part about that is, I just got done listening to the original version.

Opinion to like it sure, I'll never take that away from you. Opinion to deny that they still had objectively good music after Tekken 4, no. You could say that the music wasn't fitting even but not bad or "messed up"

I feel it's more violent and more chaotic, which can be good or bad depending on the taste I guess. I'd say this is kinda a different... It's weird to say genre, but I don't know what else to call it really.
I mean the other one was less chaotic, which makes it sorta harder to hear the serenity that used to be in there :P There was a better balance of something beautiful and something terrible going on, if that makes any sense :P Better/worse are just opinions anyways.
Its not bad... but the original in Tekken 5 is just amazing... No comparison.
I think T5's version is better, but this one is more suited for a fighting game at Tekken's pace, especially when you're switching characters around or even having both of them into action simultaneously.

they should have toned down the noise in the back a bit so you could enjoy the melody and they should have kept the piano in there. Now its just a synthesizer...
This sounds to grandiose for what moonlit wilderness should feel to be. (as compared to Tekken 5) But its okay if you factor in the change in times in respect to music these days.

I mean, I like the original Moonlit Wilderness as much as anyone else (pretty much the only song in the entire Tekken saga I like), but this one is much better fleshed out. They added more instruments while retaining the originals and keeping the overall pace and sound of the song.
An improvement in the song as a whole and its epicness rating in my opinion.
