If the price of how nutritious sardines are were accurate, then sardines would be so expensive and that would immediately give it that “coveted” factor.
I think most of the world, especially Americans, take sardines for granted. This is REAL brain food! People should be eating it weekly for not daily. The fact that they’re Stupid affordable is insane to me. Please look up the health benefits and prepare to be amazed. Helps with sleep, mood(against depression &anxiety), protects against cancer, infertility, heart disease and ADHD. High in Omega 3s, selenium, protein, calcium, vitamin D & B12!

I would like to add how EASY it is to make! Everyone is so use to eating fast food bcus of convenience, but canned fish is just as easy but healthier! Maybe a little ex work but none the less, WAY better and healthier

I'm not saying you're wrong at all. But, literally everything "healthy" helps with everything you described and yet people still have those problems with some 104 year old that drinks a 12 pack of coke every day

    • @halowaffles
      @halowaffles 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@TheThefresh180 Right, but remember, the 104-year-olds didn't grow up in an era where their developmental years were poisoned with "modern advancements" like processed foods and seed oils. Anyone born past the 1980s never stood a chance, as they've been regularly poisoned in the name of convenience for a long time now. At least as far as the western world goes.

That’s exactly right, personally I grew up with stuffed bell peppers and cornbread and milk, because my family comes from East Texas it was always southern comfort food, cheap and delicious.
As you said don’t try to keep up with the Jones’ be financially responsible and put your finances first before your social status.
My absolute favorite meal from home has got to be
Fried calf liver gravy and onions
Turnip/mustard greens cooked in light beer
    (Preferably miller lite)
    Buttered summer squash
    Boiled cabbage with ham hock
Black eyed peas with ranch dressing
And a big pan of cornbread!!!!!
And top that off with a wild blackberry cobbler
    Oh my goodness 😋
    Edit!!
If you like sardines try this
Get a saltine cracker and throw a dollop of peanut butter in it then lay a sardine on it it sounds disgusting but don’t knock it til you try it, you can also put some mustard on it also.

I had no idea sardines were trending online. They just taste good to me so I was curious about other ways to eat them. Might them for the first time a few years ago as a treat for my cat with full intention of tasting them myself. Loved it, learn to make a little spread with onions and mustard. And I love catching the fancy cans on sale too lol.
