The stock ECU file may have a large compensation or swing in timing, adjusting to those hot IAT's that cold be the reason for the inconsistent pulls. I guess merc is very safe with the stock tune on a 6 figure car covered by a warranty.

This car has stock 640hp and you are talking about 560hp? Is this an 53 amg?

That is whp not bhp
Wheel Horse Power. Unlike bhp, whp is the power output measured at the wheels. This is the information a dyno run provides and usually reads around %12-15 less than the power measured at the engine (bhp) - this is because power is lost in the driveline.
Whp is the actual amount of power that makes it to the ground (dyno).

In America they use lbs-ft and mechanical HP instead of nm and metric HP
660 lbs-ft = 894nm
