IT SOLO'D TO WAVE 34 BY ITSELF i did 2 top path and 2 bottom path and got that result consistently...absolutly broken for a spawning tower (by 2 top and bottom i mean to maxed in each direction) they really should display stats for the units pleeeaaseeee

I recommend getting a solid defense before getting barracks and then getting it at mid-late game cuz you have enough money to upgrade it and rail trooper is really helpful for monsters

You should really try the Barracks strat on Cow annoyance, basically you can trio or do it with 4 people, everyone places 4 barracks down. 1 person focuses on bottom path while the others do top path only and this basically carries you until Revived Plague Doctor appears then you need some help from other towers
Next towers could be: Toxicnator, helicopter and railgunner. These are the next ones probably, as they were shown in a video before release. Maybe they could release warship aswell, as its not completed and the lvl requirement is not realistic, aswell as the price.
To me the barracks is more of a support tower not to be your sole damage dealer it’s good for early defence and if your just starting but in its current state it is too strong needs a nerf lol

I propose that some changes be considered to make it unique and allow every unit to shine by themselves. - Price increased by a significant amount, especially on final upgrades - Placement reduced to 3, or even 2 - Unit cooldowns be increased by a minuscule amount - Top path laser gunner be buffed by a significant amount, at the cost of being capped to 1 spawn per top path barracks at a time, as well as a price decrease - Top path laser gunner have a wider range of potential abilities, such as maybe a cloak to prevent death and then firing a crippling shot at the strongest enemy, or a specialized boss killer weapon that would reduce the damage the boss could deal to troops and stun times To explain, the top path is just boring. Scout, more scouts, stronger scouts, then a decently strong scout. Its the exact same for all upgrades, troops get a bigger gun and more stats. - Bottom path units get abilities on the level after they are unlocked - Bottom path units get an ability to force spawn one unit at the cost of the duration being added to the next spawn of that unit, and the ability being on cooldown until that delayed unit spawns again - Troops gain each a unique ability to differentiate them (ideas below) - Enforcer gains a rage mode that procs apon death, giving it short invincibility as well as a large damage buff - Missle trooper gains more range and a passive ability to stop after 5 seconds of moving to charge a large rocket that grows in power based on how long it charges, will consume all 4 rockets, and will only fire at 3+ enemies in a cluster - Pyro gets a small range nerf (its deserved) however, on death, procs a large explosion (kinda like prom from dvn) before bursting into fire auras on the track that deal significant damage, melt defense, and buffs any sort of fire damage for a short time afterwards This is effectively the "spammy" path, with much more units than the top path, each with abilities giving them a significant performance boost to each singular troop, however costing much more and having longer cooldowns
And here we see the reason why TDX is beating TDS in player count. Consistent updates that aren't delayed for 6 months. Good towers/tower design A gamemode that is beatable for noobs Lots of tower abilities And maybe some other things.

The first time i did expert i died because advisor said to get explosive towers (i dont fully remember the dialog but it was something like that,) so naturally i invested in artillery, and died..because the enemies were explosive resistant.
