Dsd is in the equipment room where the fuse box is too. If you see the toilet you missed it. 101 is the upgraded one from tees valley but does come with the route. 101 heading to Morecombe and then up to Carnforth for Leeds.
Loved your commentary as always! I'm amazed at how easily you spot the black marker boards. I'm really struggling to memorize the locations of some of them. Also, I’ve been making the mistake of braking in some of the neutral zones, causing a jolt despite having the power cut off. I didn’t realize the brakes must draw power, so I’ve had to press the pantograph-up/rest button a couple of times-unfortunately, that led to some spilt coffee on the passengers🤣! It's great to see you in the BR Blue era, which happens to be my favourite. I'm dreading attempting the neutral zones in the dark-it's going to be a long route learning session for me. Ironically, the white boards illuminate, but of course, it's too late by then. I've got no chance of spotting the black boards in the dark! Looking forward to part two!
@@MorganTheTimeLord Haven’t attempted an 87 nighttime run as of yet (apart from in the First Look video)! I’d assume it’s similar to driving on the ECML at night, which is surprisingly easy once you’ve memorised all of the important curves!

At Lancaster the train in the distance irl would be heading to Heysham/Morecambe. The river is the river Lune

I’ve driven the 87 in the dark many times now, both black & white neutral section warning boards glow in the dark
@@MorganTheTimeLord Yes,, I've since given it a go and ironically they appear more noticeable in the dark with the headlight reflecting off them

@ yeah, the route is also quite pretty at night especially if you do it in full fog
