The white paint made the colourful fish more prominent. Totally loved everything about the video including your dog. But wish you hadn't placed that big unmoving fish inside that skillfully made pond in the end 😅

You should put a pump in it. You have some great water catching grooves that would look very waterfall like.

Next time instead of spray painting the bottom with live fish in ther use white rocks smalle pebbles to make the bottom white It's more friendly for the fish.

Artists make art out of whatever they have. You and your wife have cement. If you had oil paint, you would make oil paintings!
My only suggestion is fish might be more comfortable in deeper water, perhaps, because it would stay cooler, and carp like cool water
