Important: I have considered that the place you rent have heat water and electricity included which you get at most places and if not then there will be separate bill for electricity/hydro about $50 for 1 bedroom apartment. Hi Sandy I am living in UK and living expenses been gone up 60-70% similar to Canada. I came here as a postgraduate Busienss student in 2009 and now running my own small Busienss. Financial scenario and social behaviour rapidly changed after Covid-19 and people are running away from each other. Old friends trying to keep distance from their good time friends. Minds have been changed entirely and life became tasteless. Smiles and laughing faces disappeared completely😢😢😢😢 I am so upset feeling loneliness despite I see hundreds of people around me but I can’t own them..
Recession as well as covid 19 impact we have to face until situation doesn't comes on track

I arrived in Ottawa last week from Chandigarh , India.
Rent here is not 600 .
It is between 750-900(all inclusive) for a private room in Kanata or Nepean or Bayshore etc.
I was in Bayshore and rent was 1200 for 1 bedroom apartment. Many of my friends are still in Bayshore and paying $500 $600 for private room. $900 is too much for a room but it also depends on the locations and amenities you are getting.

1. Home : 4000 Sqft with all amenities even with cricket ground.
2. Maid : 24 hours
3. Weekend tour : Near anywhere atleast once in 15 days.
4.Holiday tour : Once in six months includes foreign trip
5.Having Nany for my childs too.
6.At least restaurant visit once in a week.
7.Celebration of every festival with friends & family.
That's why I left Canada in 2016, I can't live this levish life style there!
