I saw those also but he only mentions glue and screwed the apron and then covering the holes with a dowel hole filler. If he only did the screws at the corner I’m sure that was sufficient
Any reason why not a domino instead of biscuit? Apart from the obvious that you would've had to sell a kidney lol. It would add strength though instead of just alignment?

Looks nice. Just bought a Domino few months ago when I was building my son's table, expensive for sure but man it was so nice to use.
Hickory is hard hard hard , but man does it look good.

Awesome looking table. I use Rubio Monocoat on my live walnut tables and you can’t beat the easy application and look.
