I tried videoing some today I found on my plants. Tough to keep up with them with a stereo zoom scope. They were definitely shy of the light and kept moving to the dark side of the stem. Excellent work friend!

There are variations on this strategy- some species stack their own feces on their back, and there's one that wears its molted heads as a hat.
