One thing that vans should prioritize is ride comfort including reducing tire noise. The ride should be queit, comfotable and a pleasure to be in especially for that price tag.

Yeah I once took a road trip in it, it does make a lot of noise at the back there, and because of that, we at the back, couldn't hear the music properly

nice review. but just want to ask is there any other luxury passenger van that drives smother with no rattles than the v class? and comparing the v class to an SUV like a land cruiser which drive more comfortable and handle well? just want to know these thank you

The Volkswagen Caravelle Bi-turbo TDi has fewer rattles and is slightly cheaper... but some of us couldn't live with its bizarre ergonomics or monumental turbo lag. The Land Cruiser will have a softer ride but its cornering and high-speed handling will be worse than this V300d.

I'm currently driving a amarok ultimate (fully loaned) but getting 25mpg. Looking for a family vehicle considering xc90 x5 range etc . But thinking this is a real option for me.

It is truly saddening to see what the AMG name has turned into. So much heritage and legacy behind this three letters being milked for profits.
However, I believe that Mercedes-Benz also wasn’t given much of a choice, due to this being common practice by almost all higher end brands.

@@GalimotoMedia no. It's us blacks and our obsession with being showoff or materialistic. Non of this cars main customers need it. It always has less than 4 people unless it's being rented out. Just one guy with an empty pod.
