The only people who have reacted negatively to me owning guns have been Europeans. Which is silly, Americans with guns have kept them from living under a boot twice.
Actually European means nothing.. every country here have different laws and philosophy about guns and guns ownership.. for example, there are more than 20millions legal firearms in France for 70millions French people. Though we do not have ccw permits (only hunting licences and shooting sport licences ). there are very few accidents every year and yet we are perceived as nazis when we talk about it to non gun owners.. there are ccw permits in Switzerland and Czech republic. Yeh I agree but lend him something under the condition that at his first possible chance he buy his own. Sometimes you have to see to believe and a lot of these hands off non gunners had the mindset that this would never happen in their lifetime. If they don’t buy one at some point, then just get your gun back and wash your hands with them. Because obviously they aren’t going to learn why it’s good to have at least one.
Cycle Sensei I’ve heard. I think of it was the last thing the police are gonna worry about is lending someone a firearm because criminals just borrow them and don’t return them. Lol.

The only family member I'd loan a gun to would be one that is is pro 2A but has just never bought a gun. Not possible in my case though because I don't know of any family members who don't have guns.
I agree with you up to a point. I had a friend ask if i could “loan them a gun” because they were afraid of what was going on. I agreed and went over to his house to give him the basics on gun safety and how to properly handle a firearm. His wife was unhappy about all of this so they went into the kitchen to discuss having a gun in the home. And that is when I hear my “friend” tell his wife “ We can keep it locked up. When we feel it is safe again, we’ll turn it in to the police.” He still doesn’t understand why I left without giving him a gun. He claims he just told his wife that so she would agree. I don’t believe that for a second.
I caught someone breaking into my shed, so I jammed a new lock on the door and called the police. "Is he armed?" They asked. I said no. "Stay calm and keep him in there. We'll have a car on scene in about twenty minutes, okay?" A minute later I call them up again. "Take all the time you need. I just shot the guy, so there's nothing to worry about." Four minutes later a cop is putting a perfectly unharmed thief into the back of a police car. "I thought you said you shot him!" he cried. "I thought you said it'd take twenty minutes to get here..." I replied.
In the UK , it's illegal to provide weapons & ammo to anyone without the correct licence , You must also notify the police about the changes and the name of the person who has taken charge of the weapon .

I have one, personal exception to this rule: Somebody who for reasons beyond their immediate control, and is legally able to possess a gun, can't get a gun. For example, a kid I know turned 21 during the kung flu debacle. I had been mentoring him in preparation for his permit class, but when COVID struck all the classes were cancelled. He has since been able to take the class, but now can't get a pistol because there just aren't any available in his price range, so I lent him the Ruger he used during class. Perfectly legal to do in my state, by the way.
@TonyElbows In Missouri its legal to sell or give anyone a gun that can legally own it. To own a handgun in Missouri you have to be 18 but theres not an age limit for long guns. To carry a handgun concealed you must be at least 19 unless you're a member of the armed forces though.

I tell them to start small with something like a 10/22 because they are cheap to buy and shoot then step up and I get the same old "o maybe some day. I need to get more comfortable with them first". Loads of people put off stuff until the last minute. I just got into it with my wife about tinting her car windows. I have been telling her for like 4 years and this summer I had enough because the seat belt buckles on my our baby seat was burning my kid. The dots finally connected in her head and they were tinted the next week.
All my family owns guns, but they are honestly Fudds and have never seen the need for an AR or even a decent pistol, because what could you hunt with that?

i have 'loaned out' two different guns in my life, i lost both of them. the borrowers [friends?] both claimed the guns were stolen from them. both borrowers reimbursed me for the fair market value of the guns. the first was a gift from my uncle. a nine shot h&r revolver that was worth little in monetary value, then or now. it had loads of sentimental value and i would give up my front seat in hell to get it back. the other was a taurus mod. 85. good little gun, but i do not pine away for it very much. BTW, it was incredibly accurate for a little snubby .38 special. anyway listen to these guys. they know of what they speak. don't fall for sob stories, do not loan out guns. also, the gun may have been bought with your paperwork. if something bad is committed, with your gun, you may be implicated, in some form or fashion.
Your paperwork? There is no federal gun registry. The paperwork you fill out cannot legally be kept on file by the government. It isn't tactically advantageous to do so, but we should support gun owners who do that. They are putting support of the 2A in front of their own personal safety, and that is admirable. Same thing with open carry.
Pretty much. I cringe when people say "I made a leftie a gun owner" because they ain't on our side. I spend a lot of time looking at left wing forums (actually more time than watching/reading right wing or 2A media) and left wing gun owners will still always vote for anti-gunners, gun control, and often will plan to user their guns to "counter" right wing gun owners if they ever get in the way of their "agenda". Here is the thing people need to understand, if you truly convert someone to gun ownership, they won't be democrat. They might not be republican, they could be libertarian or other third party, but you cannot truly be a believer in the 2A and still vote democrat.
Dave Smith Exactly. People think it’s great that the left are buying firearms, buts it not. They don’t plan on using the firearms to protect the constitution, their communities, or their families, they’ll (unironically) use the right to own firearms to take away the right for others to own firearms or speak freely. And after they’re done using the firearms to get what they want they’ll turn in their firearms under gun control laws and say “see! We’re gun owners too and we’re turning in our firearms! You should too!” The founding fathers didn’t institute the 2nd amendment so violent socialists could use it to over throw the United States, install a socialist theocracy through violence, and then eliminate the constitution.
I've handled firearms since I was about twelve years old. And in my community which was mainly black folks, having firearms was looked down on. I was always told," Jesus never needed a gun.", or," You're giving the police an excuse to kill you." At about the age of 30yrs old, I started buying lots of guns that I wish I had kept, but again, my family started saying the same things again, and I listened to them. Then I got a job in state government, and bought a few firearms,(not as many as the first time), one of my sons got in trouble with the law, and I did two things: 1. I retired from that job, so my son could come to my house. (The job had help mess up my health as it was). 2. I got rid of my firearms, so he could come home. I don't feel to bad about that, because that trip down south seems to have opened his eyes up. He is making much better choices. So now I don't have the income I once had to rearm, but I have at least gotten one defensive weapon, (Glock 48), and am halfway through building an AR-15. It's slow going for sure. And the prices are crazy. But I think I've learned a valuable lesson. The tool everyone else says you don't need should be the one you keep. Meanwhile, those same family members are all armed to the teeth! Around the first of September, I should be able to finish the AR build, and I will never again get rid of my firearms like I did ever again!
Remind people that Jesus told His Disciples that"If thou hast not a sword, then sell thy cloak & buy one"(Luke 22). He gave that advice when it was a capital offense to pray to any but the Roman State approved gods. BTW, blackpowder guns including Revolvers are not considered firearms & can stand in if your son is still precluded from owning a gun & you want to be armed while he's living with you.

Yuppers I can't loan guns to friends cuz they all have their own 👍
The only people who have reacted negatively to me owning guns have been Europeans.

“Now we don’t give out participation trophies” 👈 “but we’re gonna let ya play” lol love the way you said that
This has to be one of the BEST gun gripes I've seen.
"What gun do you recommend with all this stuff going on?"
"An AR-15"
"What? Really? But aren't those made to kill people?"
smh
Precisely
Do you want one that a piece of shit XD

Greetings from a german Friend...
@Cody Sonnet excellent evaluation of the German state in 2020!
Then I got a job in state government, and bought a few firearms,(not as many as the first time), one of my sons got in trouble with the law, and I did two things:
BTW, blackpowder guns including Revolvers are not considered firearms & can stand in if your son is still precluded from owning a gun & you want to be armed while he's living with you.
lol a buddy who only had 1 Firearm
asked me to loan one of mine to another person. asked me in front of them🤨.
That’s the worse way possible of asking for something. What a dick
I sure hope you said no.
I hope you slapped him. That's inappropriate!
Hi Chad and Eric , good video as usual ,I am from South Africa , thankfully I became a gun nut befor this virus poped up and we went into lockdown here. Because there's a huge increase in crime here , it feels good that I am able to protect myself and family.

I also had someone announce to me that he would buy one of my guns! Not just no but. HELL NO!
I wouldn't because that's illegal in my state. Deal with the consequences of voting for that I guess
4:46 11 years. Cut shells still the best video on the internet.
unfortunately in our "red flag" modern society i don't like telling non gun people if i own guns or not. we cant just say who cares anymore
