It is so beautifull do hear this piece played without hustling through the notes. On top a well made recording without clipping when the bass pipes speak. We have that too often at YT. Well done,Maestro, chapeau.
CRITICAL TRUTH... This composition CANNOT be played too quickly. Otherwise, the articulation is lost and destroyed. Bravo for selecting the correct tempo that does the piece justice. ALSO.... LOVE the deep pedal bass pipes. Reminds me of the grandeur of the infamous John Wanamaker Organ (like no other). The only thing that would have made this recording better was to have ACTUAL BRASS to play the designated parts... in order to make the COMPLETE experience so profound !!! Of course, the reason why organ is so good is due to it being an Aeolian-Skinner.... the Rolls Royce of organs.
Its so refreshing to hear it slowed down. Its amazing at what we miss in the name of speed.
I agree 100%. So many organist play as if they are going to a fire, or they miss interpret tempo markings

Hi I am the organist for St. Bernard and the Young Organist for St. Monica- in Dallas Tx I have heard you play there. 😀
Fantastic! Bravo!
Fantastic interpretation and musicianship
amen to those who say this is played nice and slow.
Go straight to 0:23 (won't miss a thing0
No double pedal? :P Good interpretation!
Indeed! Opted for a very legato pedal line in the dry acoustic. :)
