This is why I always had said keep the B61 from Red Hook To LIC and make the B62 do the new route to Astoria. Bring the B77 back and have it go from Red Hook to Church Ave on the (F)&(G). Plus bring the B71 back but extend it via Van Brunt Street to Ikea.
The Manhattan beach stops are literally a block apart. That’s about 1 minute walking distance. Given that the average wait time is five minutes, might as well walk that distance.
That turn on the B11 the want to "improve" in Sunset Park would be problematic. The bus would not be able to turn left onto 2nd Ave without a traffic problems. They may as well leave it alone. I was an operator on that route, so I know. It's right by Lutheran hospital on a narrow street. That left turn is not a go if you ask Me.
I never understood the B11 terminal in sunset park tbh, but it just feels like they tried to do SOMETHING to call it a redesign, but from your perspective as an operator, would you propose any changes to that? Or is it better for it to stay as is right now
The B4 should piggyback with the B36 and just go straight across Avenue Z to Ocean Avenue. that way you don't lose Sheepshead Bay B and Q trains and not losing Coney Island Hospital as well.
I personally don’t see it as I seriously doubt spring creek could handle converting some of their buses into SBS wrapped buses, not to mention there’s no point when the route is being truncated the way it is :/
This is rather interesting, the B5 MIGHT have potential with being an SBS route, but the B6 Limited I’m not so sure about, but I’d have to think it through a bit more I guess

So isn’t there a B1 express?
The B4 has so many turns to provide a bus connection with the B and Q trains

@@BTrainFoamer They just oughta leave it. If you saw how, tight those streets were over there, you will definitely get what I’m saying what I’m saying
That's how they cut runs,.I drove for them for 25 years...I should know.

B103 could've been a SBS run

Other bus routes that should be but MTA won't make it like Bx36 Bx15* M98
M101 Bx1 Q43 Q46 Q114 Q10 Q27 s89
B5 B6 Limited should be B5 and B6 SBS
