But then between Helene, Milton, and constant, horrific crowds and parade-route-style traffic (I drove St Aug to St Pete x 4), I said hell no. I ended up moving to NC, just south of Asheville and glad I did. Sorry I couldn’t hang - and I still care about and pray for all you guys there. Stay strong, friends.

Any time it ever flooded like this in FL it didn't last long but sometimes we could catch fish and crawdads in it.

Lots of alligator reporting, that's a good time to send your kids out to play in the water😮 not to mention all the bacteria.
