Instead of Birthing Boughs i'd now go for Maskwood Nexus, cheaper activation and it gives all of your creature cards changeling, wherever they are. Also, there is Path of Ancestry now, it's like Unclaimed Territory but it also lets you scry if you have a tribe commander.
I'm working on a collection of three dino EDH decks in naya, temur, and jund. This video single-handedly boosted all three of them! I also want to point out For the Ancestors in green for finding good creatures off the top of your library. (Pantlaza, Blue/Owen, and Indorator btw.)
Kindred Boon, ordering that on the spot- i needed that enchantment- sweet! All these cards are awesome, some of these i never would have known about if i wasnt tuned in with yall😊 love this vid, i have some standard tribal decks, makes me want to convert my lorwyn elemental into an edh deck😯😁
thanks for the video! been looking around for cards to start a tribal deck but everyone kept recommending like 80+ dollar cards and I just wanted a few budget options thanks so much for the optioins!
I'm surprise Konda's Banner not on the list for 2 mana equipment and 2 to equipment gives your commander +2/+2 and +2/+2 for all your creature with share color and creature type
I think it is time for an update. With cards like Species Specialist, Haunting Voyage, Crippling Fear, Pyre of Heroes, etc., I think there are new contenders.
Yeah, I had never seen that card! Ty for commenting! Thinking about an update to this video in the next year, that would definitely be a card to add. It's a little fragile, but if you're voltron'ing up a champ in your tribe, this is exactly what you want
I run a Giant Tribal "Titan" Deck with Morophon as my commander and I'll tell ya card draw very essential in them. Obviously as a tribal, it's dependent on creatures and as such requires protection. I'd say if you're in green and red, Rhythm of the Wild, The Great Henge and planeswalker Domri, Anarch of Bolas are a must. Those effects are phenomenal and do add up.
Would also recommend Xenagos the Reveler and Goblin Shusher. Xenagos +1 is a red/green gaea's cradle effect and vexing shusher is an uncounterable creature that makes any spell you cast uncounterable for a red or green.
not at all! I just find with cards like that, I normally cut them first for creatures that reduce mana costs or draw cards off casts specific to the tribe. normally in EDH, casting them isn't that difficult. if you used it specifically with a tribe that has high average CMCs, though... like dragons or eldrazi?

Nice stuff!! I’ve found that Heirloom Blade is a fantastic piece of equipment in tribal decks :)

You are so welcome! and do it! Tribal can be really fun if you account for making sure your hand stays full!
Thanks, my friends are wanting to finally play EDH and I've been trying to explain some things to them like this. I'll pass it along.
Please do! We appreciate it!

Ive never seen that coat of arms art- very cool!
definitely my favorite one
Great video. I would have mention Shared Animosity as a great red tribal card.
Good call! Definitely should have included that one!
Pyre of Heroes and Heirloom Blade are pretty good value engines in a tribal deck. They also have a pretty underrated combo together.
Awesome as usual , very informative . Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
In most of my decks I carry most cards you've spoke of great video thanks for more insight. Keep on keeping on stay Pawzitive
I appreciate that!
I have a Morophon Tribal Tribal changelings deck. This video gave me so much to think about haha
I really enjoy your content. Keep it up
Thanks, will do!
As soon as I saw Call to the Kindred I immediately went to Eldrazi too
cloud keys, immortal sun, descendants path
Very well done. Enjoyed the video. Keep partying.
Thank you! Will do!
Descendants Path x Cream of the Crop
Great source

I am going to build Tribal Buff Tribal. All the buffs for tribes with no room for creatures
ah yes, the fabled "Tribal Tribal" deck.
I think reflections of littjara is a new tribal staple.
We love that card! This vid is def dated, but it would be included.

Agreed. It's been a huge year for tribal since I posted this. Plus, I look like a used car salesman in this video.
@@JakeandJoelareMagic Yes, but a sexy used car salesman!
I have a slimefoot deck and some of these cards are in there
Nice! Saprolings ftw
I'm astounded that no one ever throws out Alpha Status in green for tribal decks. It's easily the best green tribal card I've seen.
Yeah, I had never seen that card! Ty for commenting! Thinking about an update to this video in the next year, that would definitely be a card to add.

When you read that comment, choose a creature type...
What about. Maskwood Nexus

Belbe’s Portal? Too narrow of an effect?
