- Found five old tin plate Märklin and Primex TEE / IC DB coaches in good condition.
Pulled by my Märklin 3014 Ret800 , to look like when this train was running through Switzerland...

@@2mes2mains I know. I'm starting on scenery on my upper level and it just moves somewhat slowly. I guess the day comes when the layout is "done" except for small details and then suddenly we will miss the process. But that is "how we humans roll!"
@@dbtrains172 I totally agree, my friend ! This is why a layout should never be finished 😀 . Always think to add somewhere an escape track to be able to add in the future a layout extension . Also, some of the scenery parts I have added are removable, this way, if I am bored one day, I will redo them differently, and keep the process alive !

Very nice video !!! I bought these cars as well, but am having problems with the pick up shoes shortening out over switches…

My tin plate coaches don't have interior light, so I cannot help you a lot, but maybe some adjustments on the different metal parts will help... Some of my coaches had too low couplers and were creating sparks upon turnouts, I just had to bend them a bit up and it was ok.
