Brilliant! I have a Genos and a Tyros 4.
On the tyros 4, the left speaker packed up. I spoke to Adam and swapped leads and speakers etc - to no avail. I was about to open it up to see if something had come unsoldered. You just made a passing comment that the speakers are powered by the base speaker. I didn't realise that!
Just checked - and the left speaker was partly unplugged from the Woofer. Now working perfectly!!!

thanks David lovely demonstration I've still got a tyros one and recently bought a tyros 2 . i may be be a bit behind but like colin Kennedy never had so much fun with my clothes on ….love the tyros and all the people who play them

I sort of miss the comparison of the 2 keyboards when I see your video, so I still don't know if the Tyros-3 is worth buying. But you do a very nice demo of the Tyros-4, which I will give a thumbs up for,.
Update I came very close to buying a Tyros 5 last October but I didn't buy a flagship arranger keyboards because I resigned and have been unemployed ever since.
Also I was wrong about saying "arranger keyboards are not just for one man band performers" eh that is primarily who arranger keyboards are aimed at so in reality
there really is no point in buying one if all you want to do is midi sequencing and don't use auto accompaniments ( complete waste of money actually if your not going
to use it the way it's intended to be used or bother to learn how to play like a performer ). If midi sequencing is your thing your much better off buying Halion 7 if you want
these same sort of acoustic instruments in your DAW as well as several different synthesis capabilities ( including the addition of FM Lab! ). You don't get synthesis capibility with
an arranger keyboard.

I would have loved for you to play both equally so the difference could be discovered but you seemed to favor the tyros 4 I thought the video would be equal tyros 3 and then tyros 4 and vise versa.
I have never owned a flagship arranger keyboard but I am looking into buying either any Yamaha Tyros from Tyros 3 upwards or Genos. There is currently a black Tyros 4 on
EBay which I quite like but buying a flagship arranger keyboard is a decision I don't want to rush into. I was going to buy my flagship keyboard next year but I'm hoping to buy one
later in the year for my Birthday. Although I don't really use the auto accompaniments the sounds are still second to none and you can do midi sequencing on these keyboards
but I personally think they are a bit too good for playing public domain songs.
Might want to compare the organ sounds, electric pianos, drum kits etc.
So, What Should We Do..?
I currently have a psr s775 and I used to have a tyros 1. I really want to go back to tyros because I just miss the feeling and the look of those keyboards. The tyros 5 is a bit out of my price range. But is it worth getting the 4 over the 3?
When you want to use Custom Voices with own wave forms, the Tyros 4 is better, it starts fast, also when you have filled it with 500 MB of sounds.
I have a Tyros2 & would like to change to a Tyros 4 or Tyros5.

I came to this video expecting a true comparison between the 3 and the 4. OK, the sound of the 4 is vastly better than the 3 but the rest of the video was really only an advert for the 4.
I guess I will have to keep looking...

Hello, did someone tried to swap hdd with some SSD ?
Just came across your video! Great info thank you! I have a Tyros 1 an I am considering a Tyros 4 or sx900. But I don’t know what to pick🤣. I can get a tyros 4 for 1500 euro (very good condition) and the sx900 for 2000. What would you advice?
SX900 is Tyros 5 level without S.Art2 and after touch, however it has new voices from Genos so that it should be equal or more than Tyros 5.

i had Tyros 1 now moved to T4. T1 had mora powerfull and more clear sound than T4. İ disappointed. i think it is related with sound card...
I own a tyros 3 and the only difference I can find in the keyboard to the tyros 4 is Blue buttons and everything else seems the same. A few backing tracks add a few more differences. But I say the tyros 3 was better than the tyros 4 and 5.
Drowning the Tyros 3 in reverb doesn't help when you're trying to compare piano sounds.
Shoobidoobap, expansion voices doesnt increase the boot time.
How is the tyros going on here even in 2022. People say tyros is discontinued and now its only genos. Needless to say its so damn expensive specially for people who live in countries like India
Hi Shakti. You might not realise, but there is a huge Yamaha Tyros community here in the UK. The Tyros is a very popular keyboard - despite being superseded by the Yamaha Genos - and we have always supported this community and will continue to do so!
@@ePianoscouk thats wht i got pleasantly surprised to see it in full glory. Tyros is still above the psr series and i’d love to play it.. however here its out of stock and availability is a big problem.
