Where he mentions God meets people where they are. That is so true. I never went to a church or was not even seeking Jesus. I got saved watching TH-cam on my phone by doing research on bodybuilding, health and conspiracy theories. Stumbled across a video of a man talking about spiritual warfare. By the grace of God, I’m saved by the blood of Jesus.
Pastor Paul, I can’t express enough how much I enjoy your teaching. Studying with you as you take us through God’s Word verse by verse leaves me wanting more and more. Thank you!
Thank you Pastor Paul. I’m so grateful to have found your ministry a couple of years ago, such great teaching. All churches should teach verse by verse. Too many have never read/studied the Bible.
My family and I ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth forever and ever amen.We repent of all of our sins and beg Your forgiveness and have mercy on our souls 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
One day I will travel to the United States and attend a service by Pastor Paul. The picture you've painted about this woman who bled for 12 years brought me to tears. I've read about this story before but not with this picture you painted. It overwhelmed my heart with so much gratitude, just understanding how compassionate our God is. God bless your ministry. 🇸🇿
Thank you, Pastor Paul, once again, for your verse by verse study of God’s word. You help me understand what I read. I appreciate you and look forward to your videos every day. I share your videos with my daughters each evening. God bless you for your faithfulness. ❤ 7/30/24
So good..God is able through whatever our storm may be. The Bible to cast our burdens on Him... by our Faith we are made whole...what a dynamic Scripture! Thank you Pastor Paul.🙏💕
Great preaching! It says in v34 "Jesus was moved with compassion"". That's where all the dynamics of faith is holding on, how merciful and gracious the love of God for.
Several years ago, I started walking with God and I really wanted to know the Bible but I had a hard time time understanding it. After praying and searching God answered my prayers and I was able to find your videos which were such a blessing and opened up a whole world for me to understanding God's word. Thank you so much. God gave you an amazing gift of being able to teach others in a way that everyone can understand it. In my opinion, God healed the possessed man because God's purpose was to reveal himself to the gentiles. After the man got freed Jesus told him to go home and tell his family what God has done for him. So because of what Jesus has done for him he went and spread the word and it probably created lots of believers. Maybe there was no faith involved because the people didn't know God yet. The only possible faith that we can see in this story is the unbelievers that lived in that area get to hear the story and see a "lost cause" man being miraculously healed and it says they were amazed. You have to have faith to believe that only God can heal a man in this condition.
Jesus crushes all his enemies and mountains all under your feet. Don't pray for the mountains to go away pray for Jesus to lead you the right way for his name sake and don't worry about nothing because he loves you
Wow Mr. Paul. Thank you. I stumbled upon your ministry several months ago while studying the book of Esther. I am 65 and I have listened to and heard a life time of expositions of the Word and believe that God is working in you His will to stay true to His word. I appreciate your honesty when you come across "hard" to interpret scriptures or sayings of The Word. I appreciate your saying, I don't know what Jesus meant, or This is not clear. This Exposition of Mark 5 brought on the emotions of joy, peace, validations of faith, and even laughter. I love the reminder to us, according to to the word in the book of Proverbs, to lean not on our own understanding. Thank you again. It's a pleasure following you "Thru the Bible" from your web site. Blessing to you.
Wow, thanks Marsha!! What a blessing to see your note! I love hearing from people and I love that the Lord is ministering to your heart through the teaching of the Word. God bless you!!! -Pastor Paul
Whether or not Jesus told them to tell or not depended on if He was in gentile or Jewish country. The Jews would come after Him so that's when He told the person to keep quiet. Ever notice that when God freed the Jews from slavery He drowned their enemies? When Jesus rescued this man from "slavery" He drowned his enemies. Love this channel by the way. I listen every day.
I don't know about this faith mouvement, but Jesus restore the health of this bleeding women without doing anything. He just felt it afterwords. This is how much the faith is powerful.
Evil spirits are fallen angels and they know who JESUS is. Men don't...Hugh...just experience this with my co-worker who use to be Catholic for a minute to get married and then decided he will just live life, the best way he can. He says the Bible is man made. He believes in Science. Even the spirits beg for MERCY but Men are to proud, stubborn and ignorant to realize that GOD IS ALL MIGHTY! THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. Infinite 💘 I pray for my co-worker for evil has blinded him.
I always enjoy your sermons. Does verse 6 express faith from the man? Could it be that this man came to himself long enough for his faith to be expressed? Maybe that is the faith that seems to be missing here?
This was an act of Mercy, not faith. Just like the miracle of us being called to Christ when we are lost and have no faith. We receive a miracle from God and are called to salvation in Jesus Christ. This is a picture of salvation. We, being bound as a slave to this world, miraculously set free by the mercy of our Lord
what happen at the tomb was Jesus was telling them and showing them all that he was the resurrection. because Mary said she believe he would be raise on the last day. they all did and Jesus showed them all, only through him can this happen
I was raised Catholic and we had to confess our sins regularly and do some penance for them. If we did not confess our sins we could not partake in the Lord's supper (communion bread and wine) I'm just wondering if this is a throwback to those days when people who were unclean for various reasons couldn't touch anything or anyone until we were "made clean". Are we unclean until we confess our sins? (I no longer practice the Roman faith, I'm born again now but it's still an interesting question) It may even apply to us non-Cathholics.
Some acts of Jesus were for God's glory we need faith not Jesus because He knows who the Father is . We are human and limited to what we see and know BUT if we seek Him with all out hearts then He let's us in . Demons know because they are in that realm. That's why when some folks die they see spirits . It's our Job to seek come to know the Lord. My humble opinion.
But why Jesus asked them to not say anything about what he had done?? I don’t understand when previously he said to the man that had demons, to go to his friends and tell about the wonders Jesus did to him and how he was merciful
My understanding is that this was meant for the people that were outside ( watch his video on mark chapter 4 part one. He explains well on what being on the outside means)
I don't think so. He was under the influence of demons hence, he didn't and couldn't have had faith as he was not in his right mind. The demons recognized Jesus and worshipped him. See James 2:19

The man did run to Jesus and worshipped him verse 6. The man did have faith.

Thank you for this wonderful lesson.
