Tim Edey (3 Row Button Accordion) and Brendan Power (Diatonic Harmonica) play two tunes off the cuff. The first is possibly traditional(?) the second is Brendan's: The Tip of the Iceberg.
Very much seat of your pants stuff: we'd never played these tunes together before, and had no arrangement: it just evolved organically.

Japcat, Tim is always super happy when he is playing. I know, as I have been lucky enough to play with him. Great stuff as always.

WOOOOW
che gusto! brilliant :-)
The first one seems to be an impro based on a trad tune. I can't recall the name, but I've definitely heard it before quite a few times.
Wonderful musicianship!
@platinumkid78: Thanks man.. or woman! Whichever, I appreciate it, Brendan :)
great stuf
I cannot stop listening to these harmonica duets. What harmonica are you using Brendan it sounds incredible. I must try to learn some of this Irish playing it puts my rendition of Oh Danny Boy to shame. It is truly phenomenal to watch you both play. you put me in such a happy frame of mind. Thank you both.
Thanks Steven! The harp is in PowerBender tuning, half-valved.
they are in love, sure
(almost) Flawless performance!!!
Brendan, do you think you would have gone another way if that one reed hadn't been stuck at around 4:09?
Amazing to see two great musicians collaborate in such perfect manner!
Lovely stuff...can someone tell me of advantages of 3 rowbox...
best I think Ive ever seen on youtube... arent u planing to have an album togheter?
I enjoyed the stew out of this.
The first one is Red Haired Lass
Hendrix of the Harp..
Beoga plays the first tune. I don't know if it is trad or not.
@BrendanPowerMusic Is it the bender tuning? I remember you saying something like that at towersy. :L
And the CD comes out when?
Bro'mance
Yes, I guess it might be a sign from the Heavens that I am Spiritually Blessed, a Chosen One. Or could it just be a bit of fluff blown in from the open window? I suspect the latter...
omg brendan did you notice the ORB fly across you at around 22-23 seconds in?
he look like eric clapton now XD
Beautifull. But no like te EQ. Nedeed more bass. Deberias eliminar las frecuencias altas en la mezcla final para que no choquen tanto las frecuencias agudas de ambos instrumentos.
ЗаводнАя музЫка😅😅😅
