People are saying anti-lag can destroy the turbos, obviously this can vary, but how long would you expect a turbo to last if antilag was installed to the car? Also how much is a stock golf mk6 r turbo and labour cost to get it installed? I want to buy the golf mk6 r so bad lol, they look like beast! So much better looking than the mk7 r's tbh
Mine friend had many of cars with antilag and there were all alright
I'd say if you use anti lag for quick rolling launch then it won't do much but doing it for that long will definitely damage the turbo
Not antilag it's a cackle tune. Dumps raw fuel into the exhaust hence the pops n bangs as it ignites.

I got one of these around a year ago as a first car and have been working on it ever since. As of now it sounds very similar to this one and pops just about as loud. And I haven’t driven it to school once and I’m now debating if it’s a good or bad idea. Any opinions?

@@Nick-pg6lf no its very clearly antilag, its on deccel that he pops. Antilag is purposely misfiring with your spark in deccel so you blow up the mixture while the exhaust valve is open therefore some of the explosion happens in the turbo which keeps it spooled up on deccel so you don’t have turbo lag. And it’s the mistimed explosions you can hear as pops and bangs. But it absolutely fucks your turbo up.
