Because of the fact, that VW builds the same engine for several cars there is no real difference. Until the late 90's early 2000's each model had its own engine and therefore its own character. Nowadays it is not important, which car from VAG you drive, as long as it has the 2.0 TFSI. New VAG cars are not bad: they are fast, have an efficient fuel consumption, and the price tag is moderate. But they have no character and emotions...IMHO they are boring. I would prefer a Golf R32 with 6G manual anytime over a Golf 7 GTI. Same with MB C63 W204 and W205 C63...maybe the 205 is a second or two quicker to 200, but the 204 makes much more fun.

Is there no TUV in Belgium and Netherlands??? Are they allowed to participate in the normal traffic? In Germany these cars would be suspended from traffic within 1 day!
Haki We have very strict laws and inspection. These people just drive around like this until they get pulled over by police. And for the annual inspection you just switch back to the stock exhaust.

In Germany you can lose your driving license for such childish behaviour! The punishment can't be too hard in NL and BE if there are hundreds of these cars driving around....
Nash Wemmer They either give you a ticket/fine and tell you to change back to a normal exhaust. Or when the noise is ridiculously loud they can take you straight to the inspection center. They will red card your car and you’ll have to change back to stock. Pay for another inspection and a fine.
