It is pain especially if you are alone you can’t miss and if they don’t hit you it will be a score in the 40s and 50s

I dropped 45 last night first time cause they actually pass me the ball the whole game for once (3 of 4 of the other players passing to me were AI's so they had no choice lol) 😑

Rec is BRUTAL! Worst is when you are the only one doing anything for the team and they stop giving you the ball as if you did something wrong
Haven’t even watched yet but yea. This title and intro says it all🤣. I was shooting 13/15 from 3 in rec on my 6’1 and in the fourth quarter I missed ONE SHOT and never touched the ball after that. We lost and I dropped 44. Absolutely hate rec sometimes but there are those rare games where the team clicks and it’s so much fun

I be at double digit assists just trying to feed my teammates as PG and out of nowhere they start throwing the inbound over me. After that I will go a whole quarter without touching the ball 🤣🤣

I played a lot of rec w/ randoms. And every single game started off w/ an AFK treammate, and someone that just sits paint immediately. it never fails when I play rec w/ randoms. It's a painful world on 2K.
Honestly that's why I be happy to see 7'0 bigs like if you just going to sit paint at least be on a shaq build not some weak as build that can't even finish in the paint but clogs the lane.
The entire intro literally described my REC experiences from 2K19 to now😂 the hooping part gets me everytime. I be hooping, getting my team involved and then all of a sudden I’m not getting the ball anymore and we end up getting blown out because they can’t run the offense without me 🤣🤣
PointGod is that you??? I have a friend I used to squad up with and that was our problem. We basically had a Shaq/Kobe duo and would run the rec and we tried to get our teammates involved and I can’t tell you how many games he would have 7-8 assists at halftime and I would have 4 or 5 and we’d have a 10-15 point lead and then the second half we’d get froze out and lose by 20.
Ya whats crazy is when you do not even miss a shot they just decide. to "share the ball" aka pass it in to some else who not even playing PG long story short next thing you know you down 10 and team has thrown 5 turnovers in a row

No it didn’t. All he did was crowd the top of the key and look stupid. Anyone who makes a guard then sets screens like they’re a big are just stupid
I propose they bring back VOTING TEAMMATES OUT... but only if teammate grade falls below C-/D+.
That way you can't vote out just anybody. Plus you don't have to wait for them to grade out completely if they are doing stupid stuff.

@@lmao6593 definitely not idk how many games I had where I either got teammates that stood still or just threw the ball down the court while inbounding. I almost never put my mic in but on 20 I did hella just to talk shit and ask questions on why they sold. Every game was a ai on the team

My elementary coach had me setting picks as a guard regularly. Some of the decisions here by that guard were strange like the one pick way up from the line but some of the picks he set actually set you up really well. Unconvential maybe but nothing to lose it over. Better than some of the trash I have seen in rec by far.

I retired from 2k after 20 but used to play with randoms all the time. The amount of 4th quarter selling was frustrating

My boy and I run rec with 3 randoms for pretty much each season with an 80% win rate and bro let me tell you it takes YEARS off my life 😂
I was on the mic trying to communicate and dude turned his mic on and said "I can tell you're white, you getting sold." And that guy and his buddy I'm assuming took turns getting off 3 secs, def 3 secs, and off out of bounds. Was crazy af

I love when the big man inbounds to the other big because they're "not getting the ball" 2 min into the first quarter n keep going till they each have 6 turnovers on 2/9 shooting
I just played last night with some randoms. We went down 20 and the team wasn’t involving me. I finally got the ball and strung together some great possessions and got ya within 2 with 3 min to go. They iced me out the rest of the game and still lost by 20
There needs to be a comp & non comp rec lol. Some kinda skill bases matchmaking with teammates and opponents. Everyone quits by half.
Went into rec alone on my shooting big, dominated the boards and got blocks and assists but didn’t touch the ball once to shoot or score 😅

thats why i only play big man in the rec, and i stay in the paint. If i see theres another big dude with a similar build i usually try to exit before the game starts. I catch boards, try to do the outlet passes and play paint D. I don't even care if they don't give me the ball, i'll get it myself and get the standing dunk, or pass to the open guy on the outlet. Sucks when they just follow the stupid arrow and cannot switch, but it is what it is.
I had a 7’3 Center just chucking 3s the whole game then getting 3 seconds every time

And it gets better. The next game, didn’t get the ball on offense the whole game. Down 1 with 5 sec left we get a steal, I’m by myself on the break. All he had to do was pass it. He took it all the way and got chase down blocked. I sat in silence for like 20 min. I’ve been playing 2k since it was on Dreamcast. I might be done

I was playing rec with 3 other friends and this 2 guard was complaining in chat about how he didnt get the ball when he legit led our team in shot attempts but he was 1/9 at half. eventually he got mad when he missed his 12th shot or so and he stood under the hoop to get 3 in the keys saying "We gonna lose together, feel my pain"

This has happened multiple times to me, where we will be up during the whole Rec and the randoms will just shoot any thing so we stop passing them the ball and they purposely turn the ball over and don’t play defense, I don’t understand how they aren’t kicked by this Because of teammate grade and we will end up losing the game by 10 because we playing a 3v5

I get so upset when the randoms be missing me wide open from the 3 a lot of times or when I'm cutting to the basket at the right time. Another thing that gets me upset about playing with these randoms is that they be rim running almost every possession instead of kicking it out to a wide open shooter and they don't guard their man that they be leaving their man wide open so easily especially on the corners. And there are those who be cherry picking which is frustrating. Their IQs are terrible.
