Oof that first match stung Feels like there needs to be some mechanic for Terran where they have to have at least 1 landed building to be considered still in the game or impose some slow damage to the buildings if there are none landed. The Total War Warhammer games do something similar where if you have 0 landed units your flyers get a massive morale penalty until something lands to prevent dumb cheesy stuff where you pick off your opponents range and become immortal. Its the 1 mechanic that can truly hold the game hostage, and feels like there should be some obvious solutions to it without punishing Terrans for good faith play.
I disagree. Terran can pull a win if they micro their units perfectly vs opponents armies but if their forced to have some mechanic that hurts their orbitals, then DT's become base trade kings instead of just really good
I find it pretty ridiculous how terrans get a draw by default in these positions. Maybe buildings should have fuel and crash after a few minutes in the air?
Honestly in my personal opinion 45% of the entire reason i watch 7/10 of winters videos, is for the intro. I love his intros their so polite and curtious and then the end of it is just *chef kiss* thanks for always giving me a good smile my dude! :)
Wonder if the balance council would add a flight/fuel timer on terran buildings so they can't just hide in the corner? Like 2 minutes or something would be cool to stop this sort of thing
Microwaves most effectively heat water in your food, then fats, and lastly carbs. So that’s why the cheese in the middle heats before the bread on the outside and why a wet paper towel would help with the heating process distribution issue.
The best way to get more even heat in your microwaved food is to lower the power level and microwave it for longer. Most microwaves default to full power. 5 minutes on power level 8 is better for heating cold/frozen food than 2 minutes on power level 10. Warm all the way through.
17:23 Terrans with their BS, clearly he lost but doesn't want to admit defeat. Terrans floating buildings after initial 10s should cost 10 vespene gas per second to continue floating without landing.
So really, the 1st game was won by Showtime, who executed well in the late game there, but ridiculous floaty building BS made it into a draw. What nonsense. Edit: and now at the end, Showtime would be up 2 - 1 if not for the draw. I'm fuming for him. What a dumb mechanic.
he also lost all his probes and just generally got bullied before the basetrade. So i wouldnt call it imbalanced, at least for this game. It was not fun to watch, i can agree on that.

Game 1: mind blowing to see that floating building cheese in a tourny with actual pros.... They need to make buildings slowly run out of fuel and crash. So stupid.
Showtime deserved the first match. So unreasonable that buildings can be out of range forever while the other two races can't hide their buildings. I don't see the balance there. Even with 0 supply, 0 army, 0 workers Terran has this advantage and can't be defeated.
@@sneediumminer Terran had 2 command centers floating, that counts as a bases for operations. That would be a severe Terran nerf which has nothing to do with the draw scenario. Forcing a draw happens like once in a thousand pro games so changing that won't affect balance. It would however weaken an already weak mech style (couldn't float a scouting rax), and all proxies would become all-ins which would break the game.
