It's a mechanic from the scourge of the past raid. Once one person gets close to him, he pulses a slowness bubble and a crit spot (red color) opens in the chest and back. The one that the boss is agro'd to shoots the front crit while another person gets the back crit. After that u can damage.
The buff is "Fractured by the witness" it shows up right under the hp bar. we were using text chat/emotes/just trying to grab from each other when we could.
@@vahriellanthorn783 Yeah I believe it can't be taken until it hits 7 stacks but I was doing it much earlier in-case the next person was too far so he could be ready.
Bizarre you posted this without using a mic and seeming to consistently understand when you need to transfer fracture debuff. Waste so much time just sitting there spamming at x5 when they literally cant take it off you yet. Would be annoyed if a teammate did this...

The hand cannon is from the pale heart. The exotic is from the warlords ruin dungeon and the heavy is from the deep stone crypt raid.

There was an order. 1st -> 2nd -> 3rd and when it was on the person who I had to grab from I just stayed near and grabbed whenever the prompt came up.
