I believe this Church has been blessed by God and should remain a true piece of historic importance for the community and the public at large. I would personally be very grieved to find that it fell into disrepair and abandoned by all. God bless the people who strive to take care of it.
We need so much to preserve such memories. When I was a little boy in the 1940s, My Father was a Methodist Pastor and later we attended a Presbyterian Church in Rogue River Oregon, much like the one you've shown, that is still active! As you're guest was telling her tales of childhood there, my mind was flooded with my own from the similarity of our two churches.
My Great GrandFather Andrew Yeargan x8 and his brothers and sons settled in the Carolinas after moving to the New World in 1735 with the blessing of John Welsley; they were some of the first Circuit Riders into the Appalachias.

I just love these interviews. This lady was charming.
I know that life had to be hard back in the day. But I really think alot most simple with so much more heart than there is today
I'm SOOO THANKFUL, they will keep the SPIRIT ALIVE in that OLD church ! ⛪ ❤ 💒
Best TH-cam shows I have ever watched. Great work, God bless you and yours on your journey.
Good story here. Hope the church can continue to be an inspiration to more people for many years to come!

A beautiful church and I enjoyed hearing the memories of church at that time. Brings back some of my memories of church when I was a child.
It’s a beautiful church!!
I remember all of those hymns and my church still sings many of them.
I love this video! I LOVE the quilts along the pew backs. The church has obviously been loved and cared for over the years…

my ancestor brought the Methodist Church to Tennessee. He became a Bishop
Interesting. What was his name?
I would certainly hate to see this lovely church close its doors.
I hate seeing churches close.
