I guess the car represents how we are always under the care of our parents. No matter how old we are, no matter how independent we are, we always rely on our parents so so much. Only until they leave us, we realise how much we rely on them, and that is the time when we really start to be independent.
In this video, the car represents the love and care our parents give us and shows how sheltered are we. When the guy left the car and returns, you can see the transition in his expression. It seems like he knows he is no longer under the care of his Father, and wipe off his tears, driving into the future.

They always upload videos twice per month usually on 12th and 22nd of every month, but this production is abit late this month. Till then next video from them shld be 12th of Feb.
Each time I watched this kind of short film, my tears will rolled. I miss my dad after he died in 2015.
Someone once commented that instead of calling it Butterworks they should call it Waterworks and ever since I saw that comment I always come back to see what they’ve done this time

This video remind me of my dad. He passed away on the end of 2018. I miss my dad a lot 😭. No matter how hard i try to not cry but i just cant stop crying everytime i thought abt our times :(
A very successful tear-jerker as usual by Butterworks. Well presented from the front view of a car throughout the film, yet viewers could comprehend and follow through with feel. Such a pain to lose a kin like father.
