I love and respect all that is Savatage! It pains me to see Jon this unhealthy. Is he in a hurry to arrive at the boneyard? He is one of metal's most underappreciated and overlooked talents. TSO aside , that was more the Paul O' Neil show. Yes he was instrumental in Savatage's shift in style. Beginning with Gutter Ballet. I am talking about the earlier straight up metal direction that ended with Hall Of The Mountain King. That Cris and Jon brought us, metal classics worthy of sitting along side any metal classic in existence.

Jon Oliva's Pain was the perfect departure from Savatage. I wish Jon and company would crank out a couple of new albums. BTW, this is a good version of this song. The Mountain King still has his trademark scream. Thanx4Posting.
