This DLC made me a religious Shard Spiral user, charged or regular it does WILD amount of damage 2-4k per cast on medium sized enemies, demolishes Huge bosses, honestly on par with Ancient Dragon Lightning Storm (vs huge bosses), cast time is short enough for it to even be viable vs Disco Ball Radahn, and the best part it punishes him insanely well when he charges that big AoE blast in 2nd phase.
@@앙금-u5m Depends on your setup, Shards spiral doesn't have staff that boosts it, and it is slow moving (compared to other projectile spells), so in certain cases yes, in general - explore - kill - repeat gameplay, no.

Int weapons really pulled the short straw in the dlc. Few clear weapons that should be int would be Ancient meteoric ore GS and Putrescence cleaver, but arcane stole them 😢
Excellent game play. I absolutely love playing a mage so much 3 of my 10 characters have been converted. It was the last class I played after an entire year of Elden ring pvp too. The combos are so much more fun than spamming 2h r1 with poise
The strongest I've seen is just sovereign. Anything you can use to boost it, equipment, spells, etc and then use iron jar aromatic so you can't get interrupted and then spam it. Its not pretty. Almost like comet azur but it gets the job done.
I wish we had cooler looking armor than Spellblade, I hate the shoes and feel like a clown. It should’ve been closer to a Carian knight build like Rellana’s, with a boost to your stats. Much cooler

Did you know that Ranni's hat also boosts Dark Moon Greatsword's Ash of War? In order to maximise the damage, I suggest using Rogier's set with Ranni Hat, as well as Shard of Alexander, Magic Scorpion, Godfrey's Charm, Two-handed Talisman
They really shouldve designed something like "Spells increase Melee Damage for 5s" on Talisman/Helm slot or giving us an underrepresented Weapon with base Intscale-, like an Axe or a Reaper, so ...instead, they converted our once respectable Colleagues to fkn ARCANE ZOMBIES! Not my Sorcerer! (Thank you for not mentioning Thorns xDD)
with the other videos triggering the radahn glitch by being airborne, i assume theres a specific moment when the meteor attack checks player location and glitches out if not touching ground. hope to see some pro runs where they do a single jump attack to cancel it

Kill an enemy in one hit from a distance makes me thinks I am genius, rather than make a risk to get close and wasting time by dying too many. I think this differences in how to play that the game provides for us is really good, we have everything cool whatever we prefer.

why not use 2 handed talisman to boost yer damage and put weapon in 2h since you rarely use sorcery? it's 15% and better than sword ritual that relies on 100% hp
Souls games lived because of the pvp community With all the gimmicks and ridiculous builds there really is no satisfaction in killing a boss as much as there is for killing another player in combat

How do you use the sword magic ability while holding the buffed jellyfish shield?
This is the heavy attack not the weapon skill..so I can use it while holding the jellyfish shield 😉
