Padres signed Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, Fernando Tatis Jr, and Jake Cronenworth for over a billion dollars in deals. They have a combined .255 BA, .323 OBP, .424 SLG, and .747 OPS since 2023 started. These are supposed to be their prime years too. What happens in 3 years?

@@tynao2029 I dont think its a lack of trying I just think they invested in the wrong players. The Soto trade was bad on both ends which really hurt them too. Musgrove and King look bad this year and Darvish is on the IL

I think the Tati’s contract is still great, but the Machado extension was a bad decision and the Boegarts contract was even worth. I’m okay with Cronenworth for 100 mil tho. The San Diego championship drought continues 😢
I can't figure out Machado and Boegarts... we all know they're better than this.

They literally missed the Tatis throw to 2nd base. Like that was the 2nd coolest defensive highlight of the game and they didn’t even add it. 😭

When it becomes facing off a STREAK HITTER, its best NOT to throw any other pitch than the fastballs! Streak hitters found their ZONE and working off the things being thrown at them of being able to TRACK and Target pitches under 98mph. The guy is just teeing off like a whiffle bat. Just throw it hard and fast inside for such streak hitters, man the guy is tracking the ball well!
Phillies are a very good team.
Waited 3.5 hours for these highlights. There were 14 runs scored, yeah, but this took way too long

Also they rushed so many things in this video. The Bohm steal was cut short. They spent way too long with setting up the game at the beginning. Giving us stats that were semi unnecessary depending on a time crunch. We didn’t even get the Tatis throw to 2nd base in the top of the 9th which was one of the best defensive highlights of the game. Video seemed rushed despite the 3.5 hour delay.
