    Thanks for the Costco tip! Saved $100 and got the side guards included.

    Can you hit wedges?

    • @TheLawnEngineer
      @TheLawnEngineer  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Yes the net is tall enough to hit wedges. Only the most extreme flop shot would go over.
      That said, it's also a function of how far away from the net you are hitting.

    I just ordered the 10' from Costco. My concern is wedge shots, have you had an issues missing up?

    • @TheLawnEngineer
      @TheLawnEngineer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That is a valid concern. I have not had any issues but I keep my hitting mat pretty close to the net. I still have clearance using my driver with the mat in that same position so it’s not uncomfortably close.

    Is it jsut me but the front most lower section is a shank hazzard? Low balls hitting that thicker part directly will bounce back at speed?

      I’ve hit it all over the net and haven’t had one come back at speed.

    Looking to do a garage set up as well. I was just wondering if this one is safe enough compared to the gosports range cage to protect from wedge shots and shanks

      I think this setup is good enough for all wedges shots except for the most extreme flop shots.

    Nice swing. Net takes up less spaced

      Thank you! Yes the net fits in the garage nicely.

    How has it held uo so far? I biught the pro version of the same brand and put a hole in it in the first few days already. Debating on going with this or splurging on the return net

      Mine has held up very well so far, no issues. Admittedly, I have not used in much during these warmer months but no issues.

    Really helpful video - thanks!! Question about the height... I have a MLM2Pro launch monitor and would need to hit the ball no closer than 8ft from the net. I'm concerned with my 54 or 58 degree wedges launching over the net. With this net having no top netting, might this be an issue?

      I'm glad you found value in this video!
      I did look at the optional screen but I found I never really used my projector. I end up just looking at the results on my phone it's just quicker.

    Looking to do the same exact setup in my garage this week. I was gonna lay some turf like you did in your previous setup for the aesthetics. Are you still enjoying it? Thanks for the video.

      Yes, I am enjoying it, but I must admit that I'm not using it as much as I would like.
      My daughter is using it quite a bit to practice softball pitching.
      It is still working well for golf and pitching, I still recommend the net.

    Up to date , are you still content with it? Have you ever tried the Net Return by any chance to compare? Great vid , thank you

    • @TheLawnEngineer
      @TheLawnEngineer  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am still happy with it. I have not used a Net Return so I can’t accurately compare.

    How far away is you mat away from the net?

    • @TheLawnEngineer
      @TheLawnEngineer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's movable but I usually have it about 5 feet away. It's just far enough that I don't hit the net with my club.
