This show was the best summer of my life. Terry and Stivi (Johnny Arcade) are the nicest people. I was on in 1992 at 13 about 4 or 5 times. Best memories.
Maybe its horrible to you, to me is awesome. if you were a kid when this show was on air your would of loved it. I use to watch i every morning before school with my brother, and sister. We would always yell grab the game systems!
The kid on the left was noticeably annoyed by Johnny Arcade, and who could blame him? The kid on the right also looked a bit uneasy. If you watch just about any of these, the kids look quite uncomfortable.
As a kid growing up I thought Johnny Arcade was super cool, but now I find him annoying too lol. I remember some kids being annoyed by him and some kids loving him. Maybe that's why the show only lasted 3 seasons because a lot of kids didn't like the Johnny character.
Video Power was originally a video game review show and cartoon all in one show. Then for whatever reason, it was overhauled to be a game show. These people don't know how to produce a game show. The contestants, as I've said before, appear annoyed and uncomfortable. They needed contestants that wanted to be there.
Matthew Kaiser Yeah I watched it from the very first episode as a kid, and although I loved the game show part I sure did miss the Power Team. Sad that they cancelled it for this awkward game show.
I really wish this had gotten a larger audience or even been picked up by Nickelodeon. It's so much better than Nick Arcade. Also, Days of Thunder is terrible,

I thought this was incredible when I was four, now I feel very awkward for all of those interacting with Johnny
