I'm reminded of several years ago when she said something along the lines of "don't even think of trying to date me if you aren't at least following my personal twitter", which I found very amusing. Dating someone who is a fan first can cause a lot of problems, but so can dating someone who isn't at all. You want to be able to be genuinely supportive of your partners work.
There's a clip of her reading a comment saying "Did you get fat?" She replied to it "Yeah I did. Wanna go out?" I think she really just doesn't want to deal with being an idol but it's also stressful to reprimand toxic fans all the time so she just goes with the flow instead.
@@xxJing if I heard it right, Matsuri applied to hololive thinking she was gonna get a kind of service... basically she was going to be a vtuber as a hobby and was thinking she was the one going to be paying covercorp to be a vtuber.
I mean, hardly, She she didn't just say "I would date a listener.", She basically just said the fact that someone watched her wouldn't make her violently vomit, she would date them if they were ACTUALLY someone they knew and were naturally attracted to them. If you're that far in it's not parasocial, if you already have a personal relationship with them you are kind of by definition breaking the definition of parasocial. Do you know her IRL? I like matsuri but I don't know her ass, this isn't encouragement.
As I've gotten older, I've found personality and shared interests matters to me more than looks. Less dating insanity and drama too. Edit: also for me to date Matsuri i would simply have to become a beautiful woman, learn japanese, and become friends with one of her friends; seems fair
Matsuri is a real one. Kinda funny though how someone who has some of the most mature down to earth convos has basically a chibi model. Hope she finds her Kanna Hashimoto lol
I'm pretty sure Matsuri said Bae is exactly "her type"? So maybe, perhaps, Bae doesn't have to be maidenless? (I'm not serious, but it would be hilarious.)
My current partner was my biggest fan even before we starting dating, but like Matsuri said, it probably helped that we met through a mutual friend. The context can matter a lot. Even if you take away the parasocial aspect with a big streamer like her.
Another example showing how based she is. It has to develop naturally. And from forbidden knowledge I know that her boundaries are absolutely reasonable. And that she is cute as well.
So regardless of my single life, all I can say is that I prefer a someone who’s looks should math their personality. If a girl is attractive on the outside and the inside, then that’s good. But if she’s only attractive on the outside but ugly from the inside, (Basically a mean, cruel, heartless, uptight or entitled personality), then yeah, no. Not attractive at all.
Matsuri has a fairly low level of questionable people in the audience, unlike Rushiya or Nene, she has never actively developed this and I don't think that this open dialogue, where she tries to convey the fact that she cares about a partner who will know a lot about her, will be something bad. Besides, I think that Matsuri is a very resilient person who, even in the case of being fired or something else, will be able to survive it without any problems Don't think about it too much
mean while norio sensei literally stalk her husband on social media then married within one year. Kind of funny how that turn when the usual pitching/catching gender is reverse. Or norio sensei just doesn't take no for answer. Prop to her.
Hey u want my eyes ill give them to u ill guage thwm out and send them so u have a new set of eyes...lmfao...sorry my sense of humor been in the dark lately....
Ain't gonna lie. It's better to not date your oshi. The quote "don't meet your heroes" apply to this too. You might like them as an entertainer but romance is a different story. I honestly think as an idol Matsuri shouldn't say she'd date her viewer. That invites trouble. A LOT OF TROUBLE.
It's the opposite. Believe it or not, Matsuri weeds out unicorns like that, and also by collabing with holostars and stuff. So it's not a trouble at all, don't worry about it. Fubuki and some others do similar things. It hits their fanbase ofc, but they just don't want that part of the fanbase and are willing to cut them off.
An interesting point, but still, in our case they all can sing and dance well, some of them can also cook, they are fun to speak with, they know a lot of things. What else can you possibly want? To be honest, I don't really mind getting deceived or used if I can spend some time with one of my oshis among them

She's really fueling their parasociality with this one
But at the same time she said looks are important. Back to square one.

Look there are plenty of other reasons Matsuri shouldn't date me outside of me being an occasional viewer.
Matsuri has some of the best chats. She's so based, but also always thinking about romance
It's what ussually gets clipped but honestly most of the time it's her talking about food

I should totally date Matsuri, I can't even cheat on her, I don't have a single chance for it nor the will to do it.
60% looks, 40% personality.
By my standards, she needs to earn her baddie card by sitting courtside at a wizards game.
