Great review. Your review tipped me over buying another tent this evening. Got the Sydvang Utoset Ultra Light Tent 2P yesterday, which is amazing too. Which led me to learn more about Sydvang (finding your review) and ordering another. Thanks !!

Don't blame me for your tent twitch! Don't seem to be able to get Sydvang in the UK now, unless you know different?

@@Fellmandave1 No, you need a middle hand if Outnorth wont ship directly to UK. SWE > UK is easier than the other way around (my sister lives in Reigate, Surrey). I can send packages that usually slips through, but my sister's always get caught.
It's strange that they don't get their business system up for tax/toll outside SWE. Used to buy lot's of (fishing/motorcycle) stuff from UK, took a couple of years, but now most are set up with price including Swedish tax/toll. It should be the other way around too I think.

It looks good just bought a Wilderness Equipment Second Arrow SO which a similar tunnel tent style. I think you would like it slightly more. Use it in the snow and its brilliant.

@@Fellmandave1 I owned a first arrow back in the 90s when they were made in West Australia (my home nowadays).
Absolute bomber tent Dave, had it up at Styhead tarn in gale force winds one night, no problem. Sadly was stolen from my car on another visit to the UK. The beauty of their design is being able to zip the whole front down so you have uninterrupted views. Sorry to waffle on Dave on an old post, tents eh ! 😁

@@andystaveley237 no bother Andy. I hate it when reviews are considered old and dead after a year.

Just a notice, this is the UL (ultra light) edition of this tent, the non UL weighs about 3.2kg :)

Thank you for this review! I just bought the 3 person version, only 240grams heavvier and actually much cheaper than 2p. How has the tent been this last year since you bought it?

Have you experienced any significant wind with this tent since you started using it? It looks a bit fragile.

Only 20 mph. Yet to trial in harder winds. But well made

Hi! Interesting tent. I Will buy the skaring 2 but not the ultralight version. What kind of footprint do you have? Would like to have one.

Hi Per. If you look at my other video too you will see I am using the fjallraven abisko shape 2 footprint. Not perfect but pretty close.

Their equipment are not comparable to the Scandinavian top brands but they make affordable equipment with good enough quality. Unless you spend time in extreme environments, like riding out a storm on high altitude for an extended time, it’s good enough. I’d say they are comparable or just above other budget brands Jack Wolfskin.
