For me the information, tips, pattern reviews and sharing your sewing makes from the patterns to the fabrics is motivating and inspiring.
Great video packed with nice outfits with overlocker if threads break etc best to unthread the neddles first then starting from end spool re thread your machine my new one done same and was advised to thread 4 3 2 then 1 in that sequence hope this helps

Regarding a weekly sewing update though, if you’ve had a busy week or just aren’t feeling it, you might put pressure on yourself to come up with something to put out but if you stick to a monthly makes, you can slip in pattern reviews, fabric or pattern hauls, your sewing mag reviews (which are strangely my favourite because nobody else does them) etc here and there in between and make notes of things you want to mention in your monthly makes, just my thoughts? LOVE the Rosa cameo dress 😍 Tilly’s patterns are drafted for my size ratio too, if she and many other indie brands can do it so can the rest! *edit: write a reminder about the neckband for the dress pattern on a sticky note and stick it to the instructions for next time 😊
Hi there. Thanks for sharing your makes. I like the camouflage shirt dress style. See if a shop nearby you offers any instructions for your particular serger/overlocker. I started with a basic Brother 1034D (challenging to thread and use right tension) and upgraded to a BabyLock Enlighten serger - I am in love and no longer intimidated by the machine (air threading and auto tension!). I first experienced BabyLock at sewing expo here in US. Great way to test and experience different machines and recognize what is most important to you in machine features. Anytime you want to produce videos is fine with me - I enjoy them all 🤩
Persevere with knits and your overlocker! I had anxiety with mine for the longest time, but once it clicks its like the best thing in the world, a game changer - honestly !! 😁
Lovely makes. I purchased an overlocker and haven't really used it either ,but I also purchased the stitch sisters guide to overlockers course and I'm determined to get to grips with it , good luck with yours ! Weekly videos would be nice .
I think when you have a good following, anything you put out is great. It might be easier not to commit, haha. Today a half hour video was just right as I am unpicking and it’s a Sunday. On weekdays a shorter video is easier to fit in for me. I love them all!

I can highly recommend abi's den tutorials on using the overlocker- she makes things so clear
