I still don't understand this issue of Radahn Nerfed very well, could you explain to me what they weakened him on, if it was in the matter of damage, magic or something else please?
They decreased the speed of his attacks so he didn’t rollcatch after you just dodged a move, they slightly decreased the hitboxes on some moves, increased recovery on some moves to make them punishable with slower weapons, and made him no longer blind you and kill your computer with particle effects.
For one, the cross slash attack was a frametrap scenario which FS tries to avoid on principle, so they slowed it down. The very low recovery time on all his attacks let his AI queue up ranged attacks behind melee attacks, and proceed to use those ranged attacks in melee which it isn't supposed to, so they brought his recovery in line with other bosses. It was also creating problems such as making him much harder to stagger than intended, so they added 20 frames of recovery time to most of his attacks like other bosses and made the fight feel a lot less spammy. Third, he was doing abnormal amounts of damage in his sword strikes for his area scaling. Consort is scaled lower than Bayle but was doing much more physical damage on his strikes- so they were brought more in line with his actual scaling. His magic damage is left unchanged. (I don't really approve of this change though). Fourth, his sfx were creating framerate problems for even high-end gpus, so they reduced the luminosity and number of bombardments. Fifth, players were getting stuck on the uneven terrain of his arena, so they made his Light of Miquella more forgiving from a r=21m to 19m. These changes have made the fight a lot smoother and much more satisfying- you don't need to just keep hugging him and rolling left for a perfect fight now and can dodge right and keep distance as well- and he's genuinely gone from an unsatisfying boss to among the best. I don't see why they had to nerf the damage on his sword though.
