That's by far his strongest talent in the podcast. He's the least knowledgeable of the four (not that any are scholars), but his talent becomes clear in his ability to plan and execute research projects. You'd think he'd learn more about... a lot of things by that exposure, but he's had just so many painfully ignorant ideas about a wide range of subjects.
@@DrunkenHotei "Painfully ignorant" is a bit strong. He's the youngest, and thus asks more questions. He's clearly trying to learn. And he knows how to pronounce words better than any of them. "Dyatlov" comes to mind from a previous episode. Anyway, for me this show isn't so much about smarts as much as is it about enjoyability. These guys enjoy each other's company, and that goes a long way.
@@goopahsometimes I wonder if Charlie is enjoying the company as much as the others… but I do agree. Do you feel the same? He’s just so quiet and straight faced lol
i remember i wrote an english essay on antarctica conspiracy theories in 10th grade and my teacher was thoroughly educated on the topic since he had no idea there were antarctic conspiracies
I literally do a stupid dance to the intro music every time a new ep comes out bc this is legitimately my favorite podcast right now and I can't get enough of it.
@@thelizardwizard1113 As far as I know there’s no evidence of hollow earth. Tolkien was a translator of old English. Middangeard was the Germanic/Norse conception of all the land being surrounded by a concentric ring or wall. The outside of the wall patrols the serpent of middangeard. Other lands or realms surround that because there’s no conception of space in the myths. It’s all “earth.” The middle of the earth is where we are and the other lands like asgardr have Valinor as a counterpart in Tolkiens universe. Christian influence makes it not one to one but it’s heavily inspired by Norse, Finnish, English, and Celtic myth as a canvas and painted with Christianity to top it off. I’ve never heard of it being believed to be hollow. More like walled off and much bigger than our actual earth.
They literally ruled half the world for 1000 years in incredibly strategic way, by his logic you shouldn’t be fascinated with any empire because they all fell lol
@@steffanofumo Jackson doesn't seem like a very big history guy, which is why he was confused on why modern rulers are obsessed with these old empires and why the want to be related to them. For anyone who also doesn't understand, it's because of legitimacy to rule. As Wendigoon pointed out, Adolf was the last person to attempt establishing an old style empire. Part of the way you get people to accept your rule is to show you or your people are direct decadents of other ancient empires. Just like how Russia, pre WW2 Germany, and Napoleon all styled themselves as the heirs of Rome.
"it crumbled" is also a funny way to describe slowly losing control for 200 years or longer. And then still having large swathes of your culture and society rule the known world for another few hundred lol
Red and black will always be my favorite color mix, especially on shoes. Can't keep them clean for long, though. They can call me whatever they please.
imo they wayyy overstated red + blacks association w nazism (except for charlie lmao) not once has that crossed my mind when seeing someone wear that combo
@@abc.216 Agree. I don't consider anything red and black a Nazi thing until somebody wears black and has a red armband, or has a swastika, or the various Nazi dogwhistles that actually exist like SS or something.
@@abc.216the irony is that in actuality , black is the color of anarchism and red the color of communism . the anti-fascist movement that got founded early on in germany uses two flags in red and black as the logo to unite all the ideologies together as one .

When i think of the antarctica conspiracy, always reminds me of at the mountains of madness and it scares me to think if it was a true story. Easily my favorite lovecraft story
same fr, especially with all the finds of "mountains underneath antarctica easily reaching like 5 times the size of everest" being found(although in the mantle or deeper parts of the earth)
@@user-kn9gl9dt6lare you thinking of the underwater mountains that are under the antarctic ice? Because parts of antarctica, particularly the coastal areas and Antarctic pensinsula, are actually iced-over islands, some of which are the peaks of underwater mountains.
Antarctica is literally named "land away from bears". "Arktos" is Greek for "bear", so "arctic" would be "with the bears" and "antarctic" would be "away from the bears". You could measure the latitude in relation to the bearyness of the area.
I’m a mom and both my daughter and I enjoy all the podcasts you guys create. It keeps me entertained when I’m cooking and cleaning! Thank you for all you guys do 🥰🤍
I was so sad to hear that Charlie, Jackson and Isaiah were found at an expedition base camp, torn apart like they were disassembled for study next to some very large, very ancient vegetables.
TL:DR: Walt Disney was not frozen in Ice after death and he was not anti-semitic just very anti-union It's actually an urban legend that Walt Disney was preserved in ice after his death. He actually died of lung cancer and he is buried in glendale California. Although its difficult to pin down exactly who started to urban legend, more than likely it was a group of superfans who didn't want to accept that Disney had passed away and as he was naturally a fairly secretive man with interest in science and engineering they convince themselves that disney was actually cryopreserved and would one day come back to save the entertainment industry. Additionally, historians have done a deep dive on Walt Disney and found no evidence that he held anti-semitic beliefs, in fact the walt disney company under Disney was a major employer of jewish animators and writers. The allegations seem to stem from the fact he was a membe of the MPA (Motion Pictures Alliance) who were primarily anti-communist and anti-fascist but a decent amount of the members later also became anti-semitic. The other claim of him being a sympathizer was he invited Leni Reifenstahl to visit Disney Studios and she was a member of the Nazi party and a filmmaker, this was in 1938. Granted at the time, there were still debates on whether Nazis actually hated the Jews or were simply very nationalistic. The other source of evidence is his rivalry with Art Babbit who was a jewish filmmaker however, it seems the nature of their conflict came from Disney's dislike of unions and generally having to be told by someone else how he should run his business. Art Babbit was a leader and a pioneer of the unionization movement amongst animators at disney.
Such "debates" about if the nazis were antisemitic were only held by the ignorant. Hitler layed out his genocidsl intentions plainly in mein kampf. The nazis had already carried out significant violence against jews, such as during the night of broken glass, a pogrom carried out during 1938, the year in question. Additionally, nazi eugenics laws (the nuremburg laws) had been enacted as early as 1935, meaning years of oppression and violence preceeded Disney's meeting with Leni.
I think Wendigoon or Aiden of the Lore Lodge pointed out that supposedly both the Nazis and the lost tribes of Israel are down in Agartha "so they must have worked things out"
As isaiah said i just love how much variety is in this show its honestly so entertaining it always keeps me invested and jacksons story telling at the start is always so well done, amazing show keep it up lads!

Reich doesn't come from any source in Rome, though Hitler definitely wanted to style himself after Imperial Rome (using eagle symbology and practicing a bunch of pagan occultism, etc). The term Reich comes from the Holy Roman Empire (which was only related to Rome in that Charlemagne reconquered Rome from barbarians). The Second Reich was Imperial Germany, founded by the deft political maneuvers of Chancellor Otto Von Bismarck. The Second Reich's king took its title from Caesar, though, using the germanicized "Kaiser".
Miniminuteman, Milo Rossi, would be real funny to have on episodes like this, he's an Archeologist that debunks conspiracy theories and his input to these episodes could be hilarious

@@joeybohlman9655 Even so, unless it was during the second world war, where in the Arctic would they be hanging out to get into that situation? I highly doubt they'd have been all that welcome to hang around Svalbard and Greenland until they occupied Norway and Denmark. Did they sneak into Northern Greenland and just hang out there, then discreetly sailed home while shitting themselves afterwards?
Jackson, my brother in Christ, the Roman Empire was larger and lasted longer than the vast majority of empires that followed it. What kind of diss is that that the Roman Empire fell? Nothing lasts forever and very few things last as long as the Roman Empire.
Yeah he's said similar things about the roman Empire being "flawed" or whatever in another video, and I replied similarly. I like him, but I definitely think he's objectively the dumbest of the four.
Considering that the Roman Empire, though no longer named such or situated in Rome, did last until 1435, and the Romans started doing conquest and being 'imperialist' long before they became an Empire (In the sense of when it had its first emperor) the Roman state had a directly continuous existence from 500BC to 1435 CE. So yeah, almost two thousand years, assuming you discount the fact that it's indirectly still here, just as how dinosaurs are still here as birds, even if there's no t-rex. From the Catholic Church, to the Ottoman Empire that conquered the Byzantines and thereby took over their buildings, civilian institutions, populations, et cetera, which then later became modern day Turkey. It seems to be overlooked that there's about as many states and civilisations who never truly died in one way or another, as there are ones which were genuinely torn down completely.
I love how the Russians and Americans were like “we fought with ufos and lost planes and it totally happened” and people jump on aliens like they didn’t just run into one another unexpectedly and want to avoid open war
Right. And the conspiracy theorists go: "They want to trick us with a fake alien invasion. Look there it's Alien UFOs!!!". Wait, didn't you just say that's the trick? "I want to believe!". Ok.

@@tyegordon yea when i found this channel i thought he was gonna be the main guy talking cracking jokes
Dude, stop letting Charlie read, I can't stop laughing at "Tyebet" 😂
i remember i wrote an english essay on antarctica conspiracy theories in 10th grade and my teacher was thoroughly educated on the topic since he had no idea there were antarctic conspiracies
Dad of four, loving the red thread. I was already watching Isiah and Charlie, Jackson fits in well with you guys. Keep em coming.
I literally do a stupid dance to the intro music every time a new ep comes out bc this is legitimately my favorite podcast right now and I can't get enough of it.
That’s a pfp I can appreciate
The BMW Flugelrad is my favorite part of this Video lmao

I love how Jackson keeps referring to Lord of the Rings not knowing that Tolkien was a hallow Earth believer 😂
Got a source for that?
No he was not lol . Stop spreading horseshit.
Well staring solid globe believer here but yes Tolkien was partial towards hollow earth for example the name of his his land “middle earth”
@@thelizardwizard1113 that is literally not what middle earth meant...

“Why would idealize Rome? It failed” so has literally every empire in history

Jackson doesn’t seem that intelligent at all tbh
"it crumbled" is also a funny way to describe slowly losing control for 200 years or longer. And then still having large swathes of your culture and society rule the known world for another few hundred lol

Red and black will always be my favorite color mix, especially on shoes. Can't keep them clean for long, though. They can call me whatever they please.
imo they wayyy overstated red + blacks association w nazism (except for charlie lmao)
not once has that crossed my mind when seeing someone wear that combo
@@abc.216 Agree. I don't consider anything red and black a Nazi thing until somebody wears black and has a red armband, or has a swastika, or the various Nazi dogwhistles that actually exist like SS or something.

Polar Bears are North, Penguins are South
Yeah i was also confused for a second there
That's what the powers at be want you to think. Wake up sheeple
Everything is north if you walk long enough
Antarctica is literally named "land away from bears".
"Arktos" is Greek for "bear", so "arctic" would be "with the bears" and "antarctic" would be "away from the bears". You could measure the latitude in relation to the bearyness of the area.
@@xXLingunXx Only if you relocate 50% +1 bears to the south
Wait how did they kill a polar bear when they are in Antarctica when polar bears are only in the northern hemisphere?
Sounds like a conspiracy🤔
Unless there's another entrance in the North Pole!
Maybe they brought it with them
How else do you get to the north pole from the south? The hollow earth tunnels. Duh. How else would you get to Agartha?

TL:DR: Walt Disney was not frozen in Ice after death and he was not anti-semitic just very anti-union
It's actually an urban legend that Walt Disney was preserved in ice after his death.
Art Babbit was a leader and a pioneer of the unionization movement amongst animators at disney.
nah he’s in a cryogenic chamber per my sources
“I’m not a nazi I employ and profit off of my jew friends”
Have you seen Walt’s body? Yeah didn’t think so. Better luck next time Disney employed, CIA operative!
Walt also stood up for his Jewish workers that were being strong armed by communists
I think Wendigoon or Aiden of the Lore Lodge pointed out that supposedly both the Nazis and the lost tribes of Israel are down in Agartha "so they must have worked things out"

No polar bears in Antarctic. Only in the northern hemisphere.
i think they said that happened in Arctica
@@joeybohlman9655 Even so, unless it was during the second world war, where in the Arctic would they be hanging out to get into that situation? I highly doubt they'd have been all that welcome to hang around Svalbard and Greenland until they occupied Norway and Denmark. Did they sneak into Northern Greenland and just hang out there, then discreetly sailed home while shitting themselves afterwards?

Jackson saying “everyone confuses everyone for nazis on the internet” is oddly relevant to the newest video In Praise of Shadows just dropped today
Materialist BS. A lot of factually false things being said in this video.
