I would say the gameplay has made it fair for both sides. Hunters don’t have to rely on hints to spot the rebels, and rebels have to move the entire time instead of hiding in hideous spots for eternity.

Yeah i wasn't sure about the new windtrace at first but now i enjoy it more then previous one cause i have to put myself in danger constantly to win 😂

I think my best match was when all rebels were fixing one after the other and the Hunter was spinning in the middle not knowing which one to go to as all the machines ring out almost simultaneously.
Me too. I always waited for a machine to beep, so I could fix it simultaneously
that happened to me XD
mine was when all my teammates were down and i clutched the last device at the last second. literally the moment it hit 100% the timer went to 0 but it still counted as a win
@@MARUSHI-YT I got one like that too. Everyone was captures and the hunter was coming at me at the last second as I was supposed to finish fixing the last machine.

i wish they could add a toggle option for the old and new windtrace. that way, people could enjoy both modes. i miss the old windtrace but the new one is plenty fun, too!

Exactly right! Both have their merits. :) But I appreciate not getting put on hooks or getting eaten by a spider demon. Liked being able to wriggle away even if that was low probability, tho. XD
The only thing I miss in this version of Wintrace is an optional 1-2 minute chat after XD The amount of hilarious games I got with people this time.
My favorite match went like this:
I was a hunter. I played Kaveh and the other guy who was with me pick Alhaitham. The other two were Miko and Ayato. What makes this so funny is that Miko and Ayato just walked around Dawn Vinery and asked me to leave them alone. Well, in the end I ended up chasing Alhaitham guy around the map :D

I was desperate about the rerun and now i'm sad cuz this is not windtrace anymore... way too different from what we use to before 😢
You can't just slap the same old event in. That wouldn't make sense. They gotta make something different.

I kept reading windtrace was easier for hunters now, but whenever I become a hunter I always lose lmao! 😅
Personally I prefer the old windtrace cause I like playing as a hider. The new windtrace is still kinda fun but I don't get to enjoy hiding anymore.
I wish Windtrace was a permanent game mode.

It was a lota fun as this was my first windtrace...
The pvp can be quite stressful, if your teammates are very sweaty then it's sometimes not winnable..
The close games were definitely fun, like anytime you outsmart hunter by positioning well and repaired a ton and win is always satisfying.
As a hunter, hunting people down was also very fun, also as a hunter you don't need to be afraid that someone's coming after you, so that's less stressful i guess...
My closest as hunter was probably at dawn winery where i captured the last rebel repairing the last beacon just milliseconds before he finished it.. you think you had it? Nah...
This happens quite often where some ppl repaired the beacons further away from the center first and they are left with beacons so close to each other that is basically impossible to repair. The hunter could just stand in the middle and watch them come up, this is especially hard when there's no progress on these beacons which usually happens in these scenarios.

Every time I played windtrace I was literally shaking, I was petrified. I think I'd have been better at hide and seek tbh.

I think the best round I had was my last round as the hunter. Right before Windtrace is gone. I named myself Windtrace and I was Itto. The rebels were Gorou Shinobu and Ayato lol. We all talked about how we'll miss Windtrace. There was also the time when we were all husbandos as the rebels and went ahead and fixed machines all three together. We did lose tho 😅
Lag doesn't let me enjoy this mode
I always wore yaoyao to confuse players
This windtrace is better overall and is funnier to play as rebel, but not as hunter due to the capture lag issue xD

@@yuzi1759to be fair the maps are smaller and you don't even need to put down survivors with two hits. Literally just get close and that's it. So no it is pretty okay

Lost one of the rounds because I thought you could wait out the timer as rebel.
Only won twice as rebel so far, pretty drastic difficulty increase for rebels.
Play the objective and stop being lazy 😛
This is alot easier than the original y'all all literally just have skill issues

It's so easy for me had a few runs where I got 1200 points y'all all love to play on baby easy mode in games it's made y'all have skill issues. This is way easier than the original gameplay and I have played the first time they had wind trace and all the times after.

Am I the only one that dislike it? If I want to play DBD, might as well play DBD with far superior mechanic specifically designed for the game, not this cheap ass modes. I dunno, only started played Genshin in November last year, and this is the first event that I genuinely disliked. From what I gather there's seems to be old Windtrace and it was more fun, but honestly I really not feeling playing DBD with Genshin character skins, I'd rather Hoyo made an event that unique, the cat event are my absolute favorite and Sir Pouncelot are quite frankly my prized limited event treasure. But with Windtrace, after I hit that 4500 coins mark, I left the mode to plied some dusts, didn't seems to miss it one bit and could care any less about it.
No it's not. Frankly it eliminates the whole point of Windtrace. This time I am getting coins and bugging out. Sad.

Ok so i find this wind trace realy fun to troll on. But GENSHIN ADD AN ACTUAL PVP MODE i wanna beat my friends up with my characters or so we can recreate the archon war
People who keep saying this for more than 3 years are idiot who don't even understand the genre and mechanic of the game they're playing. It's already proven with PvP never added til now.
Go play the actual genre for PvP like moba or fighting.
There is PvP in Genshin. It's called Genius Invokation TCG.
