Personally I like the lamelo kaboom more and would hold on to it. Had he thrown in the Luka I would’ve made the trade. You made the right move!
Totally agree. The Towns and Kyrie 9.5 didn't do much for me. I would need the Mitchell RPA 9.5 and Luka for the PSA 10 Melo Kaboom. Cuz I expect the Luka and Mitchell RPA 9.5 to continue to dip. And I expect the Melo Kaboom to keep rising. I think this guy looks back in a year and wishes he made the trade. Time will tell

If you were to make a team would you take Mitchell or Lamelo....Pair Mitchell with any top 10 player and hes a 3 seed. He has Gobert as his 2...Dwight Howard would provide same amount of value. Imagine Mitchell with Anthony David.
@@2UGamingProductions Lamelo easy long-term. Mitchell is a great scorer but Lamelo is a generational talent. He can do things on the court that no one else can

Comparing Prizm Silver vs Flawless RPA is a crime :D Prizm/Select/Optic market is down but rare Autos and RPA-s are steady.
I agree but only the top end rookies and players have had a pretty steady high end market. Compare it to zion, even Ja and I think he was right to value the Donovan where he did in the end at 8 which even then was a lot

Yeah I agree. I rarely watch his videos anymore and this is why. He tries to make up some BS reason or show HIS app’s prices and coincidentally they’ll be lower than ever when he wants a card
A Prizm silver is not a Flawless RPS /5 graded. He is just trying to BS his way through and take advantage of people and take advantage of his “fame” in the card market

I agree a lot. I mean yes it’s a nice card and a pop 1 but it’s from a not very desirable set with Ultimate Collection as compared to Exquisite and it’s not a true rookie card. That’s why the raw comps were $200 and for him to tell people that it could reach over 3K is just him trying to convince himself that his BS prediction will come true.
Love how you price correct the $40 card, but not the $1400 one. 😆

I would of held the LaMelo. That card has short and long term value. Hes going to be the face of the nba sooner rather than later. Just my humble opinion. Nice video.
German speaking, I know everyone loves soccer/football players from their nation and dont get me wrong pulisic is good but I watch him play on regular bases and he has no shot at becomming the best of the best like Ronaldo, Messi, KdB and some others. His cards might be inflated. Yes he won the champions league but he did nothing outstanding for his team to get it. Kai Havertz score the winning goal for example, chelsea fans will remember that (they even have a song about him). And he will never achieve anything with the US national team. Other players like Haaland and mbappe are already being compared to Ronaldo and messi. Haaland broke several records aleardy his cards should be worth much more. And looking into the future Ronaldo cards should have the highest ROI since he does a lot outside of football and people will always remember him (most or one of the most Instagram followers). Sorry for my bad english :P
As someone that isn't a soccer fan I think your take is spot on. The only thing that I think tips the scales for Pulisic is that he's and American. He gets a boost for possibly becoming an American goat and us Americans feel pride for our players just as the other countries do. So I guess what I'm saying is that he gets the hometown hero pricing in the US!
I would rather keep the Lamelo Kaboom. Way more liquidity, plus great looking card in PSA 10. If you are looking to trade it, I will definitely would NOT do it for that Mitchel.

I would have done that trade. In all honesty, ball is good but, unless he gets on a contender, he isn't going to do anything. Mitchell is on a team that is one of the better teams and have a lot better chance at winning anything.
The Donovan is a rookie rpa in a high end product like flawless. The patch puts it over the top. The melo kaboom is nice but it doesn’t distinguish itself from other melo kabooms. That patch on the rpa is nasty. I would personally want that over the kaboom.
Plus the jazz are solid this year, Mitchell is averaging 25 a game so could have big upside later this season
Yeah but Melo has more juice and is trending up still. Unless Mitchell has a crazy playoff, I don’t see that RPA going up. That Melo will still go up as he’s only in his second year and getting better. Once the hornets make the playoffs, all his cards will skyrocket!

Keeping Lamelo was the best choice
The last deal was amazing. He stood his ground and wasn’t intimidated by you. Glad to see he didn’t budge. Lamelo’s cards shouldn’t go for more than D. Mitchell. 💪🏼

No trade. Not now. If Utah was in the position of getting to the finals with 90% certainty or higher, then it would be a different scenario. However, given how good Golden State and Phoenix are playing in the west, I believe it’s doubtful for Utah to overcome the Western Conference. Also, as you said, Kaboom’s are through the roof. So are Lamelo cards.

Liquidity is key. If both the Lamelo kaboom and the Donovan rpa start to take a dip, you have to think which one will be easier to sell before it dips too much. Lamelo in my opinion was the one to keep.
Put that CP3 rookie on auction now let's see if it gets close to 2500 I would like to be corrected lol

Great pickups from Anna. I think you did right by walking away from that trade. You were taking on the bigger risk and as such wanted to hedge the deal in your favor. I would put the value of that mitchell closer to 6k so as far as value I don't think his side was there. The Luka would have helped put some liquidity back in your favor but pop counts are still soaring for recent silver rookies that we all know are not scarce. Think soccer is a huge play. Pop counts on total grading are almost 1/8 of nba cards. Demand will drive prices when it finally comes. Perfect storm with more kids into soccer early than ever before and football not being played until middle/high school level.

You can't compare the ratio of an un-numbered silver to a low numbered RPA, regardless of how much Geoff has tried to hype silvers in the past. Props to the dealer for sticking to his guns. Notice how everytime Sports Card Investor uses his market movers data, he does so to artificially inflate the values of his own cards, and make the other person's cards seem like they're 'soft' or worth less than the numbers (comp/sold) indicate?
Would you rather have a $100 bill or 100 $1 bills?
Geoff is the type of person who would inflate the value of the $100 bill by 5% or 10%, because it's technically more 'liquid', and place the value of the $1 bills at 50% or 60% of value because you've gotta work harder to spend it 😂

I would hold the Lamelo. 3-4 years from now, it's going to be double. I just find it funny, how the guy with the Mitchell is waiting for him to have one 50 point playoff game. People that buy because a player has one great game, are going to lose money in the end.

Lamelo kaboom its one of kind also have great value in the future. Mitchell the market value is good but its not high ceiling. Compare to lamelo. Just my opinion

Only way I would’ve done that trade would’ve been for Mitchell RPA and the Luka Silver.
I am from Utah I'd take the Mitchell. He is still so under rated nationally, he's getting respect, but it doesn't match how good he really is. LaMelo absolutely seems like he will break through to superstardom I would just rather have the Mitchell.

I think the 3 cards he offered for the Lamelo, were more than fair. Mitchell, KaT, Kyrie are all HOF bound one day. The kaboom is cool, but not a 10k card in my book. Like he said, if Utah heats up in the playoffs, that thing will be 15+ , not to mention Kyrie coming back, should shoot that prizm to 1500$ around playoff time.
Trying to compare the trend of a non numbered silver to a flawless RPA /5 is not really fair comp IMO

Hands down you do the Mitchell straight up for the Lamelo. It's a patch auto with a nice unique patch. I'd do the deal and go buy another player that's better than Lamelo. I'd be kicking myself in the ass right now for NOT doing that deal with zero hesitation.
