    We were there June 2016 and it was one of the best trips we had, fabulous weather and gorgeous resort. We recommended to our sons and they went Oct. of 2022 and they loved it as well. I will definitely be returning to this resort or the Palace which they have just renovated.

    Thank you for sharing the video. I'm considering going to this resort.
    Can you please let me know the following?
    -How long was the ride from the airport?
    -How was the buffet and a la carte? Was a la carte hard to book?
    -Is the resort lively with lots of daytime activities and evening shows?
    -Any salsa dancing?
    -Are beds comfortable?
    -Do most people throw towels on chairs and make it hard to find a seat?

      Hi Cindy. My husband and I would definitely go back to this resort. We also have lots of friends that reached out to us to say they have been here many times.
      - the ride from the airport was no longer than 35 minutes, there was lots to look at so the time passed very quickly.
      - the buffet was amazing, lots of selection to choose from. We only went to the steak house as an a la carte as we found what we needed at the buffet. I do have a video on what the buffet looks like, I will post it as soon as I can so keep a look out.
      - the resort is very lively with lots of daytime activities. Evening shows are fabulous at the theatre and followed up with a local band/entertainment. We were never bored.
      - Salsa dancing - I didn’t notice but you could likely ask the local band to play some for you.
      - Rooms were amazing, we had a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. Sorry I didn’t add that video into this one.
      - People do throw towels and books on chairs but we always found a place every day. We didn’t run down early to leave a towel just took our chance
      - Thanks for watching

    Hi! Do you have to pay for the drinks in the room fridge or are they free? Thank you :)

      Hi Jennifer. The fridge is filled with pop and water and all is free. There is also a variety of hard liquors in dispensers for you to use.

    Hey...do we need reservations for the resturants ? If they do we need to go early

    • @inspiringpennie1795

      You need to stand in line prior to the restaurant opening. If you don’t get in right away they will give you a time to come back. Not the best process.

    Hi there, we just book our stay at riu jalisto, is it possible for us to visit this resort without extra charge?

    • @inspiringpennie1795
      @inspiringpennie1795  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Yes you will have access to both resorts. You can ask when you check in if there is any restrictions but I think it is only that you can’t book for evening meals. Have a fabulous trip. Thanks for watching and supporting me.

    Thank you for this video! We are leaving tomorrow to go there and it is very helpful. I have a question - if we want to tip bell boys, our shuttle driver, etc, can we tip in American dollars or do we need to get pesos? Also are the restaurants like the Steakhouse all included too, or are those an extra charge? Thanks again for sharing your experience!

      Hi Anne. You can tip in American, Canadian or Mexican Pesos, we took American and Pesos this time round. I found it easy to tip in US dollars.
      All restaurants are included. Hope you enjoy your trip 💜

    Is this a big resort??

    • @inspiringpennie1795
      @inspiringpennie1795  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Heather. I would say it’s a medium resort. Not too large but big enough to offer lots of amenities. Thanks for watching

    Dare I ask a smokers question? Did you happen to spot a smokers area, or any of the places you could smoke. I have been reading about the ban across Mexico. I am due to travel here next May

    • @inspiringpennie1795
      @inspiringpennie1795  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Delores. I’m not a smoker but did see people at the entrance and on the beach smoking.

      Hey! near the main pool there is a smokers section, you just stand behind this rope thing and smoke there haha, you don't have to enter a specific room it's just labelled "smoking area"
