The Infected is a survival crafting game set in an open-world sandbox where players can explore, craft, and build.
The virus was more severe than anticipated, but treatment was looking promising. The latest drug trial seemed to work, with many getting better and fatality rates dropping. But everything changed. Mutations appeared in DNA, and unexpected side effects are piling up, changing people. Locals call them "Vambies"; they look like a mix between a vampire and zombie.
