Omg this is it! I have written D&D inspired stories for years and my brother uses the stories as his narrative for his D&D game he has DM'd for 2 decades now. He has been requesting a Bloodborne-like story. An Eldritch evil consuming a city, type story. But with Eldritch horrors, it has to be complex, and often beyond mortal comprehension, where it counts. It has been my most challenging story I ever written, over the course of nearly 2 years, missing the important source of it all, but the Far Realm is definitely the missing link i need! I didn't know enough about the far realm. This was fantastic and I think just helped with my most complex narrative to date! Thank you!!
One of my favorite 3.5e supplements covered Elder Evils and how to use them in campaigns. For pretty much all of them, the adventure wasn't defeating them, just preventing them from waking up or getting too close to the world. They'd come with world affecting signs that would grow more intense as they grew near to waking/arrival. My favorite was Ragnara, who would start flooding the world with positive energy until horrid, mutated swarms of familiar creatures would burst from wooden structures, plants would bloom and rot in the same day, and the lucky ones would just explode in a shower of rapidly festering gore.
@@nikkiorr7088 Elder Evils. It includes some pretty ballin' antediluvian antagonists, like Ragnara I mentioned, Atropus and Father Lymic like in the video, as well as long time D&D bad guy Kyuss, basically the god of all rot grubs who is actually far worse. One of my favorite side villains is an Inevitable of contracts who is dead set on releasing a Far Realm god-killer entity called Pandorym because an ancient wizard empire wrote a contract, and they are unfortunately in breach of it by *not* releasing Pandorym to kill all the gods! 🤣
It's interesting how so many of these new channels do the same topics at the same time.. 40K, DND, Middle Earth, etc. This is the second Far Realms in the last week. Three channels put out Tom Bombadil back to back. The new 40K channels do the same.
really enjoying your videos but i noticed some errors. its seems like you missed a bit of content in between the ads. so yeah, way too many ads. it makes it easy to lose interest when you send more time learning about Old Spice Mountain Lion scent than the intended goal of learning about the Far Realm. Also in several of your videos, the music in the background is at irregular volumes that frequently drown out the narration, making it very difficult to understand what is being said. maybe lower the music volume or make it more consistent throughout your videos without the sharp rise and fall in volume?
Hey Noo, thanks for the comment. In terms of ads I’ll take a look at the frequency but in general TH-cam determines the frequency of the ads. In terms of the music it is set at 18.5 below the standard volume of the audio. I’ll look for further videos, but it has been set below the industry standard. Let me tweak it further!
We all got our Lorebrary Cards, & checking everything out.
Appreciate the support!

It’s a great supplement, very familiar with that one
@@Lorebrary_EG Sadly, I've never been able to run a game that fully used it. 😔
What is the name of the supplement
