The 18th season of "America's Got Talent" returns with a new set of aspiring performers looking to compete for the ultimate $1 million prize. Executive Producer Simon Cowell returns to the star-studded judging panel with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. The dynamic Terry Crews returns as host. This season promises to deliver some of the wildest acts to ever grace the "AGT" stage.

I started listening to them on TH-cam when I found them looking for new metal. They were still Metal Skool at that time. They are one of my all time favorite metal bands! That's saying alot considering the old metal and the NWOTHM. The new lyrics sound so much better than the radio edit of the original. Just more proof these guys are pure metal.
I wanna see them touring with Goo Goo Dolls, Papa Roach and Blink 182
as a musician I can relate, very hard to switch from what you learn for years

Probsably cos they had to change the lyrics so he had to really concentrate haha
@@SimmoSups That's my guess. When you subconsciously sing the same lyrics for like 10+ years it becomes automatic, you really have to focus and concentrate to change them up after all that time.

Yeah I seen this is what they're doing and I was like oh boy how they gonna tackle this one. This song was my introduction to them I think probably for a lot of fans seeing the music video in I'd say around 09 maybe 2010 and despite being a censored version you knew what they were saying 😂
The vocals were really off to me! I agree that they should have done another song, but if people liked this, they would love them when they sound good!!

These guys are carrying the torch, regardless of how far they push the lyrics in their studio songs to perpetuate the "image" of the 80's metal scene. They're a parody to some degree, but not a "spoof" as many people think. It takes their level of effort "overdo it" to remind the world that this music was fun, entertaining, and actually great to see in concert. They're filling arenas bigger than some of the original bands that they ARE TRULY PAYING TRIBUTE TO currently can. They're close to the same age as their idols, but still can put on a high-energy show that isn't just the music; it's the spectacle.
You say carrying the torch. You should check out Crazy Lixx, Crashdiet, Temple Balls, Nitrate, Girish and the Chronicles, Confess, Maverick, Hardcore Superstar, The Cruel Intentions to name a few.

Metal gets so much hate by people thinking it's all just screaming, but Steel Panther is blowing everyone out of the water
People hate what they don't understand. I've always introduce Metal bands such as Metallica, Priest, Ozzy, etc. The death and such will come later on

Michael is a great singer. I don’t believe he could hear. The vocals for sure needed to be turned up with last weeks and this weeks rock bands. 🤘

@@heavylover7944 "Don't Stop Believing" springs to mind. They covered it around 12 years ago and nailed it.
They've been touring his voice sounds shot and the edited lyrics dont help his case either. I just heard them live a couple weeks ago in Iowa and they sounded way better than here. Maybe not the best song choice.
I'm with you on not being able to hear. He usually sounds better. I've noticed with some of the huge outdoor festivals over in Europe that singers who I know are incredible really struggle and I always wonder if they just can't hear themselves well.
These guys seem so good and innocent and child friendly.... wondering if I can book them for my 7 year olds birthday 🎂

The fact they are trying so hard to make their songs PG/G maybe even pg-13 friendly is super talented and probably challenging! I love there music and even though there songs are risky w language it’s still songs you can rock on 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤟🤟🤟🤟 hope they make it to the finals and win!

These guys have needed a bigger stage for years. Hope this elevates them - one of the best live shows I have ever been to...and it must be hard for them to do a pg rated show - these guys are def for an adult audience. haha

with these lyrics it's like a completely new song, I think "hell's on fire" would be a better choice and also not so much to censor

They do have a "clean" version of "Party Like It's the End of the World" which probably stills needs some cleaning up but that song rocks! I'd probably do that one next.

The first performance had a bunch of comments saying "Welp, good luck finding another original Steel Panther song that's not a cover that'll be allowed on TV..." but I guess if they're willing to censor their songs, their catalog will be quite a lot bigger. Beforehand, I could only think of Eyes of a Panther and Burden of Being Wonderful that are original Steel Panther songs that don't contain swearing or sexual references. Hope to see more - even if they're slightly altered!

I LOVE this band SO MUCH and wish them to go to final. But again I saw there is a same problem with the audio facilities which True Villains suffered last week, AGT. Please consider , the setting of volume of the vocals also guitar should be more turned up.
It would not be fair to the other performers for them to move on since they are already doing tours
@@rachelwalsh6116 AGT requested Steel Panther to be on the show, and hard rock and metal are not popular genres like they used to be. I don't think these musicians make enough money to live off of just being a band. So it's great to be on a PG-set TV show like this and have the public remember the name.
Do you know Jack Vidgen ? He won Australia's Got Talent but he was disappeared from music industry then 5 years later he came back and participated The Voice and he went to the final.

Apparently they were asked last year, but the band could not attend at the time. AGT got called again this year, and since they were available, they agreed 🤙🏽
Apparently AGT totally knew what the band was all about, so they knew.
