Moral of the story: If you can't make a pickresistant lock, just make it sure they have to pick it multiple times. Even though it was easily rakeable, it held up for much longer than a Masterlock...
I gotta tell you, Bill - I am really enjoying this series. Lebowski deserves a lot of credit for setting this up. Keep it up - I'm learning so much just by watching you break down the process on each of these. - thx
Let me explain something to you. He's not Mr. Lebowski. You're not Mr. Lebowski. He's The Dude, man. So that's what ya call him, ya know? Uhh, that, or "His Dudeness," uhh, "Duder, uhh, or "El Duderino", if you're not into the whole locksport thing.
I'm about to celebrate one year watching your videos, Bill! I've learned a TON with you, you're one of the best professors I've seen. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Just like with the first box, I've enjoyed every one up until the time between the next to last lock, and the last one. The suspense to see what's next will be killing me into that last one is opened! Lock Picking Lebowski, you are one evil genius! And I mean that in the best possible way! Bosnianbill, thanks, as always, for the great commentary while you work - it helps me to understand what you're doing more than you'll ever know.
Nice work, Bill! I use a large size jiggler with rocking technique. No tension wrench necessary and open in 30 seconds. And oh yes, that lock was oriented with the keyway aimed toward the push-button combination lock on purpose. Great job! ONE MORE TO GO!
I'm really enjoying this series. Many thanks! I had one of those the other day but, because I had seen your video, I decided on a hybrid attack. I picked once but only turned partway. Everything is at operating height so I impressioned a piece of plastic cut from my notepad cover.
Possibly. Never tried it before. Being a clunky double-sided wafer lock, it probably wouldn't work. I use a large size jiggler key to defeat that lock. Nearly as fast as using the original key. Keep brainstorming ideas like this, because that type of thinking and experimentation will carry you far.
@@thelockpickinglebowski633 Probably not necessary on this lock, but if you've ever tried to open a coin operated candy machine with Chicago lock attached to a threaded shaft, it had to be picked multiple times. Leaving it half picked and packing dental floss into the lock, allowed it to rotate until fully unscrewed - a plug spinner would only allow a 180 degree turn. Regards, Brian.
I really like your optimism getting close to the end, hoping for a stack of $100 bills. I hope you get'em too, but I bet he snubs you w/an incredible challenge lock for your patience and persistence.
After you picked it the first time, I wonder if you could put a high speed drill in there and spin it fast enough to unscrew without the wafers resetting?
Probably wouldn't work, being a clunky double-sided wafer lock. But great idea! Keep thinking this way. I use a large size jiggler key for fast access.
Aw my notification was an hour later than posted. Grrr. Cool vid as always and great pick Bill. Always a strange satisfaction when you can successfully rake with a hook better than a rake made pick. Something about it.
I have a question i wanted to ask you for a long time! What connection do you have to Bosnia??? Or if somebody in the comments knows? (Bosnian fan here), Thank you!
I'd make a lock just like this one, only difference, the best kind of mechanism money can buy and the thread of the screw is the finest, slowest turn available to man. Oh, and you have to pick it all the way to get it out. :D
What if after the first pick you used a cordless drill with flat head bit to turn it quick, like a plug spinner, fast enough to keep the wafers from setting?

pro trick: watch series at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Damien Kieran yup, been watching on flixzone for since december myself :D
who else is hoping for another chest inside this one?
paul smith you can’t do this to me
At this point I am with as long as this is taking. haha.
i hope it'll be covered in those tiny luggage locks. like 50-75 of them all over the damn thing.
@@oopsimdead2578 Yes, but inside that is a tiny puzzle box shaped like a key.

Yarrrr, me hearties, thee dost speak the truth!
Great video serie, love it. 👍🏻🍀
From the Netherlands!
Thanks for tuning in!
When you are done with everything it would be nice to see you pick the bag of Key's
I really want to see the key for that one old tubular lock with the super thin keyway.
Keys for inner chest were all labelled and inside the key bag 😂

I'm both excited and upset that there's only 1 lock left. This has been an incredible journey to watch
Bert Wagner 2 locks minimum. There's also the lock on the bag of keys.
@@johnfrancisdoe1563 I forgot about the key bag
Holy cow, this is like Christmas Eve! Thanks Bill for another great video.
Bill, would a Core spinner let you get a few rotations before it locks up?

Anyone know if a plug spinner would work in this case, rather than re-pick it each time?
I'd say some candy for certain, maybe a really nice lock inside also though?? Good job. Definitely been fun watching this one.
Thanks for tuning in!
I am really loving this series. Bill, I hope you are plotting something diabolical for LPL. Arrrrg!
Almost home! Can't hardly wait.
Ha! There are probably 3 more boxes in there. :)
A long and painful process. The suspense is killing me!
Right? All I kept thinking was, "Dammit, Bill, hurry up!"
So close!
As far as lockpicking goes, it's the expense that is killing me...
Can't wait next step 😁
Oh.. every single lock is mounted in the worst possible ways.. The Dude is evil!
Yes sir! On purpose. That's how we encounter them in the field as locksmiths. Yarrrrr!
@@thelockpickinglebowski633 indeed, But never 38 at a time 😂
@@thelockpickinglebowski633 did you get someone to bury the goodies in Bills yard and the map is in the box? Haha
I have a very similar lock and I rekeyed it with wafers for a Caterpillar ignition lock. It’s a great lock to slowdown people that can pick locks.

I have a set of Sparrows Coffin keys and wafer picks for this purpose. It really speeds up opening wafer locks!
I hope that dude put a bunch of "screw bill" locks in there.
Or a map to the treasure -- X Marks the spot !
I bet the innermost treasure is something awesome like a note that says "The gift of patience." :D
I bet the prize is a valuable lock and key. It may be a high end modern lock or a highly sought after antique lock.
Treasure chest opens to expose yet another lockbox.
BosnianBill uses screwdriver to dismantle next box.
Preferably the .50 cal screwdriver 😆
I'm telling you bill. You're going to open that last lock, and there's going to be a challenge lock inside.
Maybe a single key that fits none of the picked locks.
Aw my notification was an hour later than posted. Grrr. Cool vid as always and great pick Bill. Always a strange satisfaction when you can successfully rake with a hook better than a rake made pick. Something about it.
it holds the heart of davey jones ... or the labowski family spaghetti sauce recipe
Wouldn't a core spinner have made this easier?
I was just wondering the same thing.
Thanks to you,Lockpicking Lawyer and Lock Noob I am now spending more money on locks than food you f*****s lol :D ,,Great stuff Bill :)
Same here. I even bought some things from madbobs. Beautiful, but expensive.
Sweet!
Oh, the suspense.....
An interesting lock and a great video as usual. Thank you sir! I can hardly wait for the last one ... is it really the last one?
One to go again! It’s a shame the last lock is so tame but I’m sure Bill will find a way to make it interesting.
Waiting with suspense to see the treasure now. Please let there be a nice Ruko core in there aswell
And inside this box will be another box with more locks
Called it...
We already has that one
One can but hope.
@@SpamMouse you took the comment right out of my keyboard XD
Perfect opportunity to use a snowman rake
I could see a snowman .. Double ball rake doing a good job on this lock.
I have a question i wanted to ask you for a long time! What connection do you have to Bosnia??? Or if somebody in the comments knows? (Bosnian fan here), Thank you!
The comment about saying Arrrgh more made me laugh :P Great series fellers !
this better be the best prize ever.
Considering the the work that has gone into the two chests, I am expecting something unexpected.
There will be a cheap Master Lock inside.
Thanks, I have one of these locks for locking up trailer hitch pins and I couldn’t figure out how to pick it. I’ll have to try this tonight.
I learn something here, thank you M
bill should live stream the last lock !!!!
We are down to the last two locks.......funny, I think I heard this once before.....LOL
I believe we will hear Bill exclaim "yarrr, surrender yer booty!" When he opens the next lock! :-)
To be honest, I prefer seeing these old locks to the latest technology in locks...
Once it start turning could you not use a plug turner to move it more then a 1/4 turn?
So... if you pick it to 45º and then drop in the spinner, think you could get it open faster?
I'd make a lock just like this one, only difference, the best kind of mechanism money can buy and the thread of the screw is the finest, slowest turn available to man. Oh, and you have to pick it all the way to get it out. :D
The chest contains Satoshi Nakamotos private bitcoin keys
Epstein's secret diary.
My bet on the contents is some more candy (likely including those doubloons) plus a final challenge lock of some kind.
Would that spinner tool work on this lock?
I hope for more locks inside to be honest:)
It’s going to have a superlock inside
I'm expecting the box to be empty save for a single slip of paper upon which is written: "The journey is the reward".
What if you used a snapper after the first pick to rotate it past the locking positions? Could potentially speed up this process a lot.
Such a tease Bill. :P
When u get it picked and free before it relocks turn it like 60° before 90 and it relocks then try a plug spinner
What if after the first pick you used a cordless drill with flat head bit to turn it quick, like a plug spinner, fast enough to keep the wafers from setting?
You raked it once, I think it would have been acceptable to use a plug spinner to speed things up.
Probably wouldn't work, being a clunky double-sided wafer lock. But great idea! Keep thinking this way. I use a large size jiggler key for fast access.
The Lock Picking Lebowski thank you for the great lock video idea and thank you Bill for picking these and taking us for the ride.
@@Leroys_Stuff Thank you for tuning in. Been a really fun time!
Getting Close!
Everybody lets sing.. " Lets keep picking, lets keep picking picking picking.. lets keep picking."
Dang it! Now I can't get that out of my head. Thanks a lot. :)
Curious if jigglers would've made it easier as well as a plug spinner to see if you only had to pick it twice.
Yes, I use a large size jiggler key for fast access. Great job!
I would have got the grinder out by now!
What's inside? Another smaller box loaded with more locks, like a Matryoshka doll.
i'm calling this now, inside will be the keys to the locks on the outside plus an ENVELOPE with a lock on it.
Mind games rule!
Karl Royale keys are in bank bag
Inside the box all the keys and combination for the locks
I would pick/rake it to a 1/8 turn and then start using a plug spinner.
Onwards, and upwards...
this is more secure than 99% of the master locks!
No it’s not the last 2. You missed one buddy!
The blue bank bag. What’s inside?
The keys for all the locks are in the bank bag, he says that in the first episode.
Bill's secrecy makes me wonder what that odd beep was at 4:48.... Am I just being crazy?
Better be a can of beer after all this hard work.
I imagine this would have been a perfect candidate for the plug spinner?
It's going to be a Russian nesting doll I was hoping for a Kahlua with a name like the dude good luck bill you're great TH-camr
it would be interesting to see this lock face a plug spinner after the first initial pick
I wonder if it’s another treasure chest with little tiny locks on it.
MR/TROLL There's an unconfirmed rumor of a mechanical attack on the CLIQ mechanism. Guy claiming to have found it acted like an asshole.
Third time's the charm. You know there's gonna be more locks inside, right?
I wonder if you could use a plug spinner to get more than just 90 degrees out of every time you pick it.
hello bill
I bet there will be a challenge lock inside the chest.
It's a boot time.
What is a pirate's favorite letter...???
With wafer locks of this sort, I have a out of success using an L/City rake as a rocker or jiggler. I've found they typically have terrible bitting
💥💥💥💥💥😎
almost!...
It’s never-ending!
So relatively easy to defeat, just time consuming and irritating. Well it's better than a lot of other locks that Bill has shown us.
Yeah got that dang box open yet!?
Man if this was a tough core the locking mechanism would really... screw, with lockpickers
There is a small chest with a Medico in there ... lol
Since when in the h3ll is 180 degrees a complete circle?
Come on.... just open the last one... it looks so easy 🤪
All-safe, LOL
You weren’t going counterclockwise. You were rotating the box clockwise.
I hope the treasure chest has another box inside with a medeco lock on it
Please tell me there is a challenge lock inside :)
