Also, I’d recommend that you use a tinted powder that’s very close to your skin tone or foundation shade! I used a light beige-ish powder which I thought would be good enough but it turned my under eyes ashier. I switched to LA pro girl pressed powder that is very very close to my actual skin tone/foundation tone and it works SO much better!! 💗

Within 2/3 hours of makeup my dark circles will peep through more strongly making me look more agedand never understood why. Guess this video is what I was looking for. LITERALLY this is the exact trial and error I have been going through for MONTHS. except I was committing almost all of these mistakes, so I haven't been able to figure out what exactly was the problem -- now I know (spoiler, it was all of them except for the too-bright-concealer-shade, but just because I'm not a fan of the super bright under eye look anyway lol) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONFIRMING!!!!! I had a hunch that overblending might have been a part of my problem. can't wait to try my makeup tomorrow!!!

Ok, never thought to let my concealer sit and go tacky for a minute before blending. That makes so much sense why my concealer goes all streaky when I try and blend it and I end up having to build more product on top, because when applied to skin straight away the concealer has more slip to it, so letting it dry for a minute before blending should make the concealer less wet/ slippy and less prone to being streaky and uneven when blending out. Will definitely try this method from hereon. Also I have never seen a video that goes this in depth into covering under eye circles and colour correcting, covering pretty much every scenario possible. Nobody has covered this issue the way you did. Thank you.
Thanks for such a thorough video.🎉😅 I am 66 years old and I have had hereditary dark bags under my eyes since childhood. The difference between dark circles and dark bags is that circles are more of a solid color area, whereas bags have a normal colored area right below the eye, and then a dark area below that. I have to concentrate on fixing the darker area, not the entire under eye. Hopefully these tips will come in handy. Thanks!😊❤😊

I have been struggling with this issue for over a year.... trying to get the makeup specialist at Nordstorms and sephora recommend one thing after another... I buy the priducts, come home try them out & not been happy. I think it's been an issue of wrong application on my part but also color matching not being right for me. This is such a helpful video... appreciate you doing this🙏🙏
I have a question. I hope you see this. I never ever use powder under my eyes, because it always makes them look crepey and cracked. Even when I moisturize a ton. Should I avoid powder then, or can you show me what to do?
Excellent demo. I've discovered some of these ideas through experiment over recent years. Difficult finding correct shades when shopping. I also now use setting spray on sponge before and after concealer which has helped. I've not managed to get powder right though. Thanks 👍
