Gemini is a brand that knows DJ gear - my very first DJ mixer over a decade ago was a Gemini dual CD player! They also make speakers, and the GPSS-650 is probably one of the most useful and practical PA speakers I've reviewed to date. It's an ultra-compact, 6.5" battery-powered PA system with a built-in mixer, dual-angle pole mount, Bluetooth, and more. The sound that comes out is super surprising for the price and size, and it's going to get a permanent spot in my audio arsenal.

If you don't have an Amazon prime account, you need one! I do almost all of my shopping through Amazon and many of the products on this channel are sold there. It's great to have the things I need show up on my doorstep in a day or two (or sometimes even a few hours). You can try it for free for 30 days here: amzn.to/3b6rAo1. Trust me, you won't go back to life before Amazon prime!

It has a lot of good features and they were smart not to put their logo in silver or white on the front.

Ty for the review... Rockville battery powered units sound phenom as well I got burnt by Jim and I bought a sub from them that didn't last six months I've avoided them since but I'm sure all companies have those kind of scenarios but again Rockville was another great company for the money I use a lot of their products but I'm getting an affinity for some of the new seismic audio too and I definitely agree that proreck has some great equipment keep the great reviews coming check out that Tower 1 I'm telling you

Good job, just thinking, using like a wedge monitor position with the controls down will be not so much good idea and difficult to operate and the cables,

Would gemini 650 be louder than PRORECK club 2000 and any info on the vertical and horizontal dispersion on both …can’t seem to find info …which one would throw wider sound? And which one would be louder? Thanks for the great videos man

Hey! Nice video. Do you feel the noise when connecting mic? Plus, do you feel the noise increase and decrease when being in silence for a moment and backing to talk or sing? I figured out this noise with mine and would love to know if all Gemini Gpss 650 has the same "issue". I could hear the noise in yours, but I don't if it's constant or not, if increase or decrease, if it's only when using mic.

Hey Faze, You also reviewed the American Audio APX12 GO. Would you say this speaker sounds better and get's lourder than the APX12? Would you recommend it over the APX12 Go?

Hey! I would say that, due to the size difference, they are very different speakers. I like the smaller size and look of the Gemini but I do think the APX12 is a little louder. Thanks for watching!

I agree! I don’t think it would quite compete but it holds it’s own for the price. Thanks for watching!

Good review. I know what you are talking about when they "FUDGE" the EQ. My JBL EON Compacts has great bass on the flat setting and the moment you start cranking them up, they become distorted. I don't think its a good way to sell speakers but whatever. This Gemini looks like a good buy for wedding dj's its twice as less than the EV Everse. And after the wedding is over you still have the $749 price tag that will bug you for some battery speakers.
