I find it amusing when people say that someone is "going to get stuck" while in an excavator with a freaking hydraulic arm that can winch them out of any spot where they couldn't get traction. That's the whole point of it being so versatile. You can unload it from a truck without a ramp, using a similar method. At least, if you're skilled enough, that is.
This reminds me of mucking water collection ponds at the bottom of iron ore mine pits. It was a horrid job of hauling the muck out of pits with sixty five ton trucks. Because the trucks had no tall gates a scoop of dry material was places on the end of the box to retain the muck in the box while climbing the steep grades out of the pit. Dumping the load at the dump was very scary because that dry soil holding the muck in the box would hold the load in until the box was almost fully up and then break lose all at once. This resulted in the truck often rolled up and backward on the dumps edge. When I quit that job to go back to college the driver that took over driving that truck flipped it over and was killed. The youngest and least experienced drivers were forced to do that particular job. That poor guy never drove a truck before and was killed only a day or so after starting the job.
Forget the long reach a dragline would be most economical for that job. They are cheap, dont waste full and move nice amounts of material in a single swing.
I thin it is. I bet he propped his camera on something like a bucket of a machine or something to keep it level, and that machine is just slowly leaking down. Notice the camera moves a little each time you hear the noise.
Excellent job done, I like the way you work. Thank you for sharing your amazing video
he did exactly what the customer asked him to do. that is what you do when you work for the public.

Not all the time... You only have so much hydraulic power and if the suction of mud overpowers it...... your stuck
Jesse R as long as there is hard ground within reach of the bucket if it all turns to soup, you're screwed.

Fearless Chris - "I got this."
"In todays video, we tackle that age old question: how high can you stack mud?"

gooey mess indeed. good job there sir.
thanks for all your great videos
you are now on my playlist ;-)
Nice Job! Top notch skill
wouldve never guessed you getting out of the silt pond with out mats
Damn boy you got some skill
Not sure what the purpose was in smoothing the muck after going through it.
Chris is the top and bottom of that pole.
was this worth doing. look like it filled right back in

Also pull material from far away and take full buckets to increase machine efficiency.
LOOKS LIKE GOOD BITES.
youtube
+TheIrongutz He's working around a valve where a gentle touch saves him from paying to replace it when he damages it by not being careful.
yall are good I raised the mower up on the mini excavator to get good shot lol
Boggin in the 210 nice!
Looks like you need some swampbogger tracks for that bro
you are right!
He moves mud like nobody else! Lol
What is that popping sound that is heard periodically throughout the video? It sounds like a cylinder leaking down.
that is what i was thinking but then again what about using a dozer would that do the job??
Next time clean some mud out before entering your work area to prevent being stuck or machine damage.
What is the point? It will just run back into the hole you dig.
do the tracks kick most of the mud out themselves or do you choose the lowest man on the totem pool to clean them out?
he love so much his job :)
NO. YOU LOVE HIS JOB!
Arthur Bradley We all love his job
Too bad you didn't have lime or concrete to mix into that mud...you could give that pond and dam a hard liner.
good job
is this the same job as the latest vid???
Sounds like you were near rdu int.
What was the point in all that.
its called you use what you got yeah long reach is great not economical
Jeez Louise ... is there anything the old Gal can't do ?
And just how old is she gettin' ?
y u no use long reach excavator ?
Just mud or something nastier?
dont know exactly what was accomplished in this video
Oh now i see it im a idiot
Your vids are very cool. Do you own your own business?
I got some swamp land on sale for a good price.
O K. SO WHAT HAVE WE ACCOMPLISHED HERE?
Digging some mud out from infront of th drain valve on a silt pond.
read in the description
I READ THE DESCRIPTION. DID YOU?
nope...wanna tell me about it?
***** can`t read, buddy.
***** if i explained to you, you won`t understand.
Would have suggested a long reach
Could've used a track loader.
leaking by pass valve
I have a video with muddy stuff just like this
STOP LYING.
